About this experience
Handwriting of Amsterdam: to see and solve! Let's start our journey with a walk along the canals through the oldest districts of the city: here are important historical sites, dancing gingerbread houses on the water, the narrowest building in the world and the office of the richest company of all time. Along the way, I will tell you how people live in boats and why Amsterdam is considered the capital of bicycles. And on Rembrandt Square, near the Night Watch monument, we will talk about the symbolism of the painting and the fate of the great artist. In addition, you will look into the most ancient and mysterious courtyard of the city - Beginhof, walk along the square where its history began, and see the main balcony of the country. To finish the meeting deliciously, we will visit a boutique of real Dutch cheese and real Dutch herring matias

Thanks for the high level!
Traveling in the Netherlands for 2 weeks and we want to recommend Tatiana as a guide and our indispensable assistant! Before the trip everyone planned carefully, but still did not take into account very many important details! Tatiana helped us from the beginning to the last day of our journey. Everything was well planned, a lot of secrets told and helped, and our cycling tour of Amsterdam and trip to Githorn were beyond praise. Thanks for the high level!
Response from the operator: Спасибо огромное за отзыв!! Ждём Вас на тюльпановых полях в апреле

We've only been in Amsterdam 24 hours. Tanya and I have done a lot more than planned in 24 hours. We were picked up right from the airport and we went to the Zaanse open-air mill museums and the klomp museums, and we tasted real farmer's Dutch cheese and herring in Volendama, and Edam is a fairy tale in general. The car is large and comfortable (crossover) has water and wifi , which is very important when the phone is roaming. We decided to take another evening tour of Amsterdam and it was gorgeous too! So many secret places of interest we would never find ourselves. Perhaps the best guide, in our experience of approximately 50 countries .Well-choreographed speech, fascinating storytelling, wonderful sense of humor and goodwill! Thank you so much!
Response from the operator: СПАСИБО ОГРОМНОЕ! с нетерпением жду Вас в следующем году на 🌷 тюльпаны и в Гаагу на экскурсию

Great time in Amsterdam with wonderful guide Tatiana
I met Tanya immediately on the first day of the flight. Arranged some excursions and then couldn't stop and wrote ourselves all the days😉😉😉 She mesmerized us so much with her professionalism, her ease, her interesting moments that we wanted to get to know this country even more. The first tour we had was a nighttime Amsterdam, then the next day a bike tour. Itineraries are very interesting, she told us not only the usual facts and excerpts of history, but also about the modern life of the city and the country. Showed wonderful locations that only locals know, recommended a bunch of great places where you can taste both traditional dishes and just delicious food. And it is not only restaurants, but also local small open stalls with local delicacies. We didn't stop in Amsterdam, but we went out of town and looked at Holland from different angles. Tanya was always in touch with us, and when we couldn't find anything, she would come to our rescue. If you're going to Amsterdam, if you really want to see this country from all its black and white sides-- call Tanya, you won't regret it. It's been a wonderful trip. Tanya thank you very much.
Response from the operator: спасибо огромное !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Я уже как то к вАм привыкла совсем )) Огромное спасибо , Юля , за такие теплые слова !! И обязательно приезжайте в апреле !!

Why this scores 52
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private walking tour in Amsterdam: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Amsterdam.
How much does Private walking tour in Amsterdam cost?
+
Prices start at $165 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Amsterdam usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private walking tour in Amsterdam take?
+
Plan for about 2.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Amsterdam is not rushed.
Is Private walking tour in Amsterdam worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 52 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Amsterdam, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private walking tour in Amsterdam?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private walking tour in Amsterdam suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private walking tour in Amsterdam?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Amsterdam can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Amsterdam and add a light layer if any part of the 2.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private walking tour in Amsterdam start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Amsterdam within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Amsterdam?
+
On Outty we rank every Amsterdam experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Amsterdam Canal Cruise with Local Guide and Small Group, Guided Bike Tour of Amsterdam's Highlights & Hidden Gems, Amsterdam: Luxury Canal Cruise including Cocktails & Snacks. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Amsterdam?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Amsterdam?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
