The tour had it all! And we felt it the next day!!

Our guide, Giovanni, was knowledgeable about so many things: the area, the art, history, hiking, plants, etc. we were blown away! With that said, we were probably not in the best shape to take with walk (both in our 70’s) and ached for a few days after. It was still worth every step!!

    A great tour of Ravello

For our own reasons we adjusted the tour and did an in depth tour of Ravello. Our guide knew everyone and everything. An excellent experience

    Vinnie was very...

Vinnie was very knowledgeable and personable! Enjoyed our time in Ravello. Information on local plants and flowers was quite interesting.

Enjoy the Quiet Beauty of the Amalfi Coast.

Alessio was a wonderful guide. I booked this private tour for my daughter and I because of concerns with keeping up with a group. Knowing this Alessio matched my pace and checked frequently with how I was doing. He made the tour special by showing us the area he grew up and the view from his garden, even slicing and sharing fresh picked lemons with us. The walk was a delightful way to experience the quiet natural rhythm and beauty of the Amalfi Coast. The walk was quite easy for me even at age 67 because it’s all downhill. From Amalfi we took the ferry to & from Positano and the bus back to Ravello - but this walk was the best part of the day by far! Skip the crowds and take this lovely walk. Stephanie

    We loved it!

It was a perfect combination of a moderately challenging walk with our guide Giovanni’s knowledge of the local area and MC Escher’s works that served as inspiration for his later artistic endeavors. We loved it!

Response from the operator: Dear Mary, I have just passed the message to Giovanni and he is so glad to read your words Many thanks Warm regards Michele

    +

How long does Private Walking tour from Ravello to Amalfi following Escher works take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Amalfi is not rushed.

Is Private Walking tour from Ravello to Amalfi following Escher works worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 68 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Amalfi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Walking tour from Ravello to Amalfi following Escher works?

Is Private Walking tour from Ravello to Amalfi following Escher works suitable for kids and families?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Amalfi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Amalfi and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

What are the best things to do in Amalfi?

    +

On Outty we rank every Amalfi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Hands-On Cooking Class & Farmhouse Tour on the Amalfi Coast, Amalfi Coast Boat Rental: Explore, Swim, and Relax at Your Pace, Amalfi Coast & Positano: Boat Tour with Snorkeling & Drinks. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Amalfi?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Amalfi?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
