They ruined my birthday photoshoot

I booked this photo shoot for my birthday. They said the pictures would normally be delivered in 5 days, but I paid an extra $29 to have them edited before my birthday, which was two days after the shoot. Unfortunately, the photos were so bad that I could not even use them. I am extremely sad and angry that they ruined this experience, especially after I paid almost $500. I expected professional photos, but the results were very disappointing. Honestly, my 10 year old son takes better photos with my phone than what they delivered, and I am not exaggerating. I have never seen professional photos look this bad. Do not use this company. The photos on their page look nothing like what they delivered. At this point it honestly feels like the pictures on their page might even be AI generated.

First, the photos shown on our page are all taken by our own photographer. We work with one professional photographer and the portfolio displayed reflects the exact work that our guests receive. The suggestion that the images on our page are AI-generated is completely incorrect. Second, the total amount paid for this experience was not $500 as stated. You requested expedited delivery so that you could receive the photos before your birthday, which we accommodated. In addition, your package included 45 edited photos, yet we delivered more than 50 edited images within the requested timeframe. We therefore provided more edited photos than what is normally included. After receiving the gallery, we attempted to resolve your concerns by offering to share the full set of photos from the session (over 250 images) so that you could select additional images you preferred, and we also offered further editing adjustments. Unfortunately, you never replied to this while we offered it several time. We always do our best to ensure our guests have a positive experience and we remain open to working with clients when concerns arise. However, we stand by the authenticity of our work and the quality of the service provided.

Courtney Platt Photography

We chose Courtney Platt to photograph our family because he was recommended by Grand Cayman Villas, the leasing company. We are so glad we were able to book him! Courtney has years and years of experience, and is well known on the island for his photography. He arrived right on time and quickly scouted the property for the best settings and backgrounds. Courtney photographed both traditional family groupings as well as some fun, candid shots and poses. He was very good at keeping things organized and moving, but was also completely open to our preferences. He actually has a personality, too, and had us all laughing and relaxed. Two days later, Courtney delivered over 350 shots. He invited us to request additional edits on as many of them as we wanted, although there were already so many perfect photographs. Courtney spent well over two hours at our house, plus many more hours preparing the photos for our initial review, and then performing additional edits as requested. All of this for his originally-stated fee. This was an excellent experience for a fair price, and we will treasure these photographs always! We highly recommend Courtney Platt Photography.
