Awesome day out around Ubud
Our driver Kadek Budipa was great, friendly and listened to what we wanted to do! We had a bit of a later start due to a miscommunication about the hotel but we managed to fit everything in and didn’t feel rushed anywhere. Getting this tour was so much more relaxing and enjoyable than trying to do everything ourselves and meant we had a stress free transfer from our hotel in Nusa Dua to our hotel in Ubud :) It was very easy to communicate and book our trip!
Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback on your recent tour experience. We are glad to hear that our driver, Kadek Budipa, provided great service and was friendly and attentive to your preferences. We apologize for the miscommunication regarding the hotel, but we are pleased to know that despite the later start, you were still able to fit everything in without feeling rushed. We are delighted that our tour provided a relaxing and enjoyable experience, eliminating the stress of arranging transfers between your hotels. We appreciate your positive comments about the ease of communication and booking process. Thank you for choosing our services, and we hope to have the opportunity to serve you again in the future.

Excellent expereince
Wonderful experience. It was one of the best days spent in Bali. Beautiful locations, our photographer and guide Jero was really good, kind and interesting, and took tons of pictures and videos. The driver was also excellent. They took us for lunch to the most beautiful restaurant with breathtaking views. We got the pictures the same night!
Response from the operator: Hi There, Thank you so much for taking the time to provide your review on TripAdvisor. Thank you also for completing our online guest survey. It was our pleasure to be able to assist you and help make your trip a memorable one. We will share your kind words with all of our team, this will be a positive reinforcement for them to continuously improve their service in future. Thank you once again for your comment and we look forward to welcoming you back to Bali for another trip with us. Thank You & Best Regards, Ketut Merta (Bali Trekking Tour Team)

Must do tour
Great tour that had a perfect balance of the popular tourist spots, as well as somewhat lesser known sights (like the waterfalls). The schedule was perfect as it meant we had the waterfalls basically to ourselves in the morning. Highlight for us was our wonderful guide, Kadek. He is so friendly, thoughtful and knowledgable - and really elevated the experience. Thank you Kadek! Highly recommend - we had so much fun.

Amazing Ubud experience
We booked this tour and it was amazing from start to finish!! We were picked up by Agus our guide from our hotel in seminyak who firstly took us to see the waterfalls - which were absolutely stunning. We then proceeded on to the coffee plantation, this was very interesting, here we were able to taste the coffee/tea selection and chocolate. After this Agus took us to alas for dinner, WOW!! The views, the food, we were just completely in awe highly recommend the crispy duck too. In the afternoon we then proceeded to visit the rice pads first, we were honestly just stunned so amazing and insightful, Agus explained so much to us. To finish the day we went to the monkey forest - the funniest/best experience. We both couldn’t recommend the whole day and Agus enough, we enjoyed every second and will be booking another trip before we leave with Agus, thank you so much!:)

Why this scores 75
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private Ubud Tour: Waterfall, Rice Terrace & Monkey Forest: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Ubud.
How much does Private Ubud Tour: Waterfall, Rice Terrace & Monkey Forest cost?
+
Prices start at $39 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Ubud usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Ubud Tour: Waterfall, Rice Terrace & Monkey Forest take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Ubud is not rushed.
Is Private Ubud Tour: Waterfall, Rice Terrace & Monkey Forest worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 75 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 26 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Ubud, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Ubud Tour: Waterfall, Rice Terrace & Monkey Forest?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Ubud Tour: Waterfall, Rice Terrace & Monkey Forest suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Ubud Tour: Waterfall, Rice Terrace & Monkey Forest?
+
Around 9 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Ubud can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Ubud and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Ubud Tour: Waterfall, Rice Terrace & Monkey Forest start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Ubud within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Ubud?
+
On Outty we rank every Ubud experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Mount Batur Jeep Adventure, Best of Ubud Full-Day Tour with Jungle Swing, Full-Day Tour to Water Temples and UNESCO Rice Terraces in Bali. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Ubud?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Ubud?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
