Amazing tour of waterfalls with a wonderful guide!
Javier was an amazing guide! He took us to Nauyaca Waterfall on a beautiful hike through the jungle. It was an amazing day. We were able to go swimming, even though the water was super strong due to a lot of rainfall. We ended our visit there with an amazing lunch through the tour company. We loved it. Javier also took us to Puzo Azul in Dominicalito, which was beautiful and the kids thoroughly enjoyed the rope swing there. It was a great day. I would highly recommend Javier as a guide when you visit the Dominical area of Costa Rica. He speaks both English and Spanish and it’s just a great person. Thank you so much for such a great day.

Private trip to waterfalls
Javier was a great and knowledgeable tour guide, and spectacular photographer. The waterfalls we got to see were gorgeous. We were a little short on time so we only got to see 2 waterfalls but nauyuca was the main attraction, absolutely gorgeous, Well worth the money, lunch was also delicious, would love to come back and have Javier as our guide again, pura vida!!!
Response from the operator: Thank you very much for taking the tour with us .is a pleasure to service out to you and friends …

Guide so good we booked twice
Got really lucky with this trip. Javier was excellent. On the drive, we learned a lot about the culture and the area. The scenery we saw was all beautiful and the waterfalls as advertised. Playa Linda was the most beautiful beach we saw all week. We had the whole beach to ourselves. That seemed to be the theme for the day as Javier took us to unique places and out of the way directions to get a more personal experience. We entered the park through a different entrance so we were mostly by ourselves and the pavilion that we had lunch was new and nice. The best of our excursion lunches. Javier was great the whole day. He stopped along the way to point out exotic animals and clearly knew a lot about them. He was so good that we booked him for another day to take us through the National Park. He was a lot of fun and felt like a member of our group, not just a guide. A lot of great recommendations and not just the tourist spots. Can’t recommend highly enough!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind words. Your family was so lovely. I hope to see you again sometime. We are very grateful.

Don't skip this experience!
We had such a great day with Javier. We visited four waterfalls and two beaches, and every location was amazing. Javier was friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly patient with our kids, which made the whole experience easy and enjoyable. None of the waterfalls were crowded, so we could actually take it all in without feeling rushed or surrounded by many people. Definitely a must do!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for everything. We are very grateful that you chose our company to enjoy with your family. We hope you come back soon.

The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private Trip to Waterfalls and Beaches in Costa Rica: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Quepos.
How much does Private Trip to Waterfalls and Beaches in Costa Rica cost?
+
Prices start at $135 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Quepos usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Trip to Waterfalls and Beaches in Costa Rica take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Quepos is not rushed.
Is Private Trip to Waterfalls and Beaches in Costa Rica worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 76 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 37 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Quepos, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Trip to Waterfalls and Beaches in Costa Rica?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Trip to Waterfalls and Beaches in Costa Rica suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Trip to Waterfalls and Beaches in Costa Rica?
+
Around 13 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Quepos can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Quepos and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Trip to Waterfalls and Beaches in Costa Rica start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Quepos within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Quepos?
+
On Outty we rank every Quepos experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Full Day Waterfall Adventure, Manuel Antonio Canopy Tour - Longest Twin Zip Line in Central America, Manuel Antonio Park Tour and its Amazing Wildlife and Beaches. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Quepos?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Quepos?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
What is included in Private Trip to Waterfalls and Beaches in Costa Rica?
+
Included: Private transportation; and In-vehicle air conditioning. Not included: No incluye; Use of snorkeling equipment; and Use of SCUBA equipment. Always check the voucher for the final list before you travel.
