Roger who runs the company is super helpful and answers all of your questions. We were picked up when we arrived to the airport and when it was time to go home, we were also picked up on time at the airport. Just give your information to Roger or when purchasing and he will plan out your pick ups from airport and from resort. The drivers were awesome and spoke perfect English as well!

Response from the operator: Hello dear Kee, thank you so much for your comments, it was a pleasure to be of assistance in your trip and we hope to see you again in the future.. best regards!

The driver was a little late, but he was very friendly when he arrived. Gathered all our belongings, and even encouraged us to make a pit stop since our drive was a little over an hour. Overall decent ride.

Response from the operator: Dear Candice, thank you for your review. We will take action to improve our times at the arrival... we wish you a nice and safe flight home.. Looking forward to seeing you again...

Do not book with them !!!

We did not know that the terminals were separated by airline , they made us pay additional 20 to go from one part of the airport to another. They did not go by the time I gave them , I provided a time two hours after my flight so I could wait on my friend and give permit time for going through customs. There was a guy who I would assume was the manager kept calling my phone asking a lot questions I had already previously answered . Just very unprofessional. Bad vibes when you’re trying to start your vacation

Response from the operator: Hello Delicia, thank you very much for bringing your experience to our. It is true that there´s an additional cost when a driver has to pick up clients at two different terminals. Regrettably, your reservation only stated that two people were arriving on flight DL531 at 11:28 am and so the transportation was scheduled. Once the driver contacted you we found that your travel companion was going to arrive on a different flight and different terminal. The access to the terminals are not free of charge and the more time the van waits, the more they charge. According to our records, the flight on which your travel companion arrived, took more than 50 minutes after flight DL531 landed. No additional charge was made and the driver even waited a couple of extra minutes so could go to the restrooms before leaving the airport. Had we known you would be arriving on different flights, we would have let you know in advance that you needed to provide the flight # which was arriving later and that there was a charge to pick your friend at a different terminal. We hope you had a wonderful vacation time and remain at your service! Kind regards!

Private transportation from CUN Airport to Puerto Aventuras and Akumal: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cancun.

How much does Private transportation from CUN Airport to Puerto Aventuras and Akumal cost?

    +

Prices start at $15 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cancun usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private transportation from CUN Airport to Puerto Aventuras and Akumal take?

    +

Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cancun is not rushed.

Is Private transportation from CUN Airport to Puerto Aventuras and Akumal worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 50 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cancun, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private transportation from CUN Airport to Puerto Aventuras and Akumal?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private transportation from CUN Airport to Puerto Aventuras and Akumal suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private transportation from CUN Airport to Puerto Aventuras and Akumal?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cancun can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cancun and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private transportation from CUN Airport to Puerto Aventuras and Akumal start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cancun within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Cancun?

    +

On Outty we rank every Cancun experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Early Access to Chichen Itza All Inclusive with Valladolid and Cenote Swim, Whale Shark Tour from Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Tulum and Riviera Maya, Small-Group 3 Hidden Cenotes Adventure with Tequila Tasting. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Cancun?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Cancun?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
