Never Again

We spent three hours in the back of an empty bus to save one hour. Probably an illegal transfer as we were later told tourists can't use that road.

Good Company but…!! Extreme Driver!!

The driver was Driving at EXTREMELY DANGEROUS SPEEDS, reaching up to 170–180 km/h in a passenger van. This was one of the most unsafe transfer experiences I have ever had. I booked a private transfer from Luxor to Aswan with Emo Tours Egypt. The COMPANY itself was very PROFESSIONAL, with excellent communication and good customer service. However, the driver they assigned created a very stressful and unsafe journey. The driver was driving extremely fast and aggressively during the entire trip. On normal two-lane roads, he drove between 140–160 km/h and overtook cars in very dangerous situations, even when cars were coming from the opposite direction. On divided highways, he drove even faster, sometimes reaching 170–180 km/h. This is not acceptable, especially for a passenger van. It made us feel very unsafe. He also looked at his phone multiple times while driving at high speed, which was very dangerous. After arriving at our hotel in Nubian Village, we voluntarily gave him a generous tip of 500 EGP to thank him for driving us into the narrow village road. However, he kept asking for more money several times. Even after we gave additional tips, he continued to ask again and again. At one point, he even looked into my wallet and pressured me for more. This behavior was very uncomfortable and unprofessional. In summary, Emo Tours Egypt is a good company with excellent communication, but this driver’s dangerous driving and repeated requests for extra money seriously affected our experience. I strongly recommend the company to review this driver to ensure passenger safety and professionalism in the future.

Got picked up on time in...

Got picked up on time in Luxor in a clean new car and dropped off in three hours in Aswan. No complaints!

Effective, but driver was too pushy with the tip as usual

The ride itself was good as the driver came early and got us to Aswan from Luxor early. However, as usual in Egypt, I did not appreciate how he asked for a bigger tip (by more than $10) than I was initially willing to give. Other than that, it was no problem.

Good and easy transfer

Easy and good transfer between the two cities. We also asked the guide if he could stop to two sites on the way (Esna and Edfu temple), was a little bit of negotiation but we managed to convince him to do Edfu at least with a good tip.

Private Transfers From Luxor To Aswan: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Luxor.

How much does Private Transfers From Luxor To Aswan cost?

+

Prices start at $10 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Luxor usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Transfers From Luxor To Aswan take?

+

Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Luxor is not rushed.

Is Private Transfers From Luxor To Aswan worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 58 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.2/5 across 13 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Luxor, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Transfers From Luxor To Aswan?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private Transfers From Luxor To Aswan suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private Transfers From Luxor To Aswan?

+

Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Luxor can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Luxor and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Transfers From Luxor To Aswan start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Luxor within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Luxor?

+

On Outty we rank every Luxor experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Full Day Tour of Luxor West Bank Temples and Tombs (Private), Luxury Sunrise Balloon Ride in Luxor with Hotel Pickup, Luxor Day Tour: Valley of Kings & Queens & Hatchepsut Temples. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Luxor?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Luxor?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
