    Not the best choice

Once the wife and I got our bags and made it outside we found our names posted. A very nice young lady then takes our bags and takes up to where there are several vehicles parked. That is where the good ends! The next thing we get is some high pressure pitch man who is trying to get us to use the company for any tours and excursions we may want to do while in the DR. He then kept insisting we link with him on WhatsApp so we could call him or he could call us whenever we needed transportation. He was told repeatedly that we weren't interested and would book any trips or excursions through the resort. This went on for 30 minutes in the sweltering heat. I repeatedly asked where our van was and was told it was there waiting to pick us up. I told the guy we were tired, hot, and hungry and just wanted to get in our van and get to the resort which was in Bayahibe which is an hour from the airport. Finally the van pulls up and we board. The air in the van barely worked! The return trip from our resort wasn't much better. The driver was late and when I contacted the company they were very slow to respond through a chat app. Tried to call the phone numbers but nobody answered. The driver finally arrived and we boarded. He then puts on this vulgar rap music. I guess us being black he figured that was our kind of music. He only changed it after the wife gave him a word or two! Now we are late and he is driving like a mad man going back to the airport on this hour drive. Overall I wouldn't recommend this service. Especially for the almost $200 spent on this service!

    Truly thankful for Diamond

Diamond was extremely communicative and helpful throughout our entire trip. We decided to leave our first resort on day 2 and they helped get us there from La Romana to Punta Cana. Drivers are courteous and the fleet is beautiful. We also used their service to get us from the new resource in Punta Cana to the airport. Drivers were on time, courteous and great drivers. Highly recommend their services. Thank you!

Response from the operator: Hi Megan, thank you for your kind words and rating! Our team strives to provide the best possible experience. Your comments motivate us to keep moving forward. We hope to see you soon with our best service!

    Fendy is Fabulous

Fendy was our driver and he definitely went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of from stopping at gas station for energy drink to once he heard of our love for authentic empanadas he stopped by local market to get me one which also was so tasty he wanted to make sure we were comfortable and we definitely were happy with his service ❤️

Response from the operator: our priority is our customers, remember on your next trip, on your transfer with us, ask us for our fabulous national beer which is one of the best in the world for you to enjoy on the way! We are waiting for you!

Private Transfer Punta Cana Airport and Bayahibe, La Romana: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Punta Cana.

How much does Private Transfer Punta Cana Airport and Bayahibe, La Romana cost?

    +

Prices start at $108 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Punta Cana usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Transfer Punta Cana Airport and Bayahibe, La Romana take?

    +

Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Punta Cana is not rushed.

Is Private Transfer Punta Cana Airport and Bayahibe, La Romana worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 56 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 46 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Punta Cana, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Transfer Punta Cana Airport and Bayahibe, La Romana?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private Transfer Punta Cana Airport and Bayahibe, La Romana suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private Transfer Punta Cana Airport and Bayahibe, La Romana?

    +

Around 16 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Punta Cana can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Punta Cana and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Transfer Punta Cana Airport and Bayahibe, La Romana start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Punta Cana within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Punta Cana?

    +

On Outty we rank every Punta Cana experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Punta Cana Zipline - 8 lines and a suspenseful hanging bridge, Punta Cana Buggy or ATV Tour with Macao Beach, Cave and Tastings, Buggy Excursion to Macau Beach and Natural Cave. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Punta Cana?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Punta Cana?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
