Vehicle wasn’t large enough to transport passengers!
I had booked private transfer for 3 from Piraeus Port to Sofitel Hotel at airport, a 50 minute trip. When I booked I was cleared it was 3 adults with full luggage. Driver canes in a midsize car with not enough room for 3 full sized suitcases and 3 people, plus carryons. Driver did not speak to us for entire ride. Definitely not worth the $…but other Viator-booked private transfers on this trip were all great!
Response from the operator: Regarding Travel Reservation: BR-1233960705 Dear Partners, We would like to bring to your attention that, for the above-mentioned reservation, the clients selected the Private Luxury Car transfer option. According to the information they provided at the time of booking, they stated that they were 3 persons and did not mention any luggage. Based on this information, our company assigned an E-Class vehicle, in accordance with the option selected by the clients. However, in reality, the amount of luggage was substantial and would have required the selection of a Minivan, which would have been more appropriate for the total number of passengers and bags. It is clear that the incorrect vehicle choice resulted from the incomplete or inaccurate information provided by the clients, likely in an attempt to avoid a higher transfer cost. Therefore, we respectfully request that the negative review associated with this reservation be removed, as the situation was not due to any fault on the part of our company. Our company consistently delivers high-quality services with professionalism and responsibility, and we remain committed to maintaining a fair and efficient collaboration with all our partners. Great Drive with Mr. Stratos
I have come in Athens for a Travel Fair EXPO 2021. I was assigned, by organizer, a private transfer as well. I was greeted from the driver in exact meeting point as it was present to me on mail. He was respectful and he was holding an umbrella for me since it was a rainy day. Just after few steps from airport exit he had park a great black Mercedes that was shining from outside and inside. The trip was great as well, the driver was smooth operator and I was in my hotel with optimum time. On my way out of transfer I asked for drivers name and he told me his name was Mr. Stratos. It is great for a company to have nice “equipment”but also the driver needs to be someone like Mr. Stratos. So my 5 stars goes to company and also to Mr. Stratos. Great work. Keep it going
