A fantastic and wonderful experience

Excellent and wonderful experience. Our driver Mark were very kind and helpful, I have vertigo and I had attack during travel due to the high and steep road, but Mark despite of having a time scheduled He still chose to pull over and let me get out of the van to have fresh air, and he made sure that I am comfortable, He also offered if still need more stop. And I made it to the airport settled and comfortable. Very big thank you Mark. Blessed to have found such a reliable service, comfortable, on time, and full of grace. Big salute to all of you!!!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your heartfelt review and for sharing your experience with us. We're so sorry to hear that you experienced a bout of vertigo during your journey, but we're very pleased that Mark was able to help make a difficult situation a little easier. Travelling over the Crown Range - the highest sealed mountain pass in New Zealand - can be challenging for some passengers due to its steep climbs, winding roads, and high elevation. We're proud that Mark put your wellbeing first by pulling over so you could get some fresh air, making sure you were comfortable, and offering additional stops if needed. Your safety and comfort will always take priority over keeping to a schedule. Your kind words about our reliability, comfort, punctuality, and caring service mean so much to our entire team. We'll be sure to pass your lovely feedback on to Mark - he'll be delighted to know he made such a positive difference to your journey. Thank you again for choosing Wanaka Transfers & Tours. We truly appreciate your support and hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you on board again in the future. Wishing you safe, happy, and comfortable travels! Kind regards Kirsty and the Wanaka Transfers & Tours Team.

I’ll definitely ride with you again next time!

It was my first time using Wanaka Transfers for a 7:00 AM flight from Queenstown. We planned a 4:00 AM pickup, but due to sudden snowfall, they proactively adjusted the route and pickup time—smart move! Driver Alastair arrived early at 3:30 AM, handled my luggage with care, and drove calmly and energetically. Even though I was tired, I felt relaxed and safe the whole way. We arrived right on time at 5:00 AM. Thank you Alastair and Wanaka Transfers—I’ll definitely ride with you again next time! — Sky

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your awesome review, Sky! We pride ourselves on providing an excellent experience for our clients especially when we need to negotiate our snowy winter driving conditions in winter. Health and safety are a big priority, and we really appreciate you being happy for an earlier pickup than originally planned so we can drive the longer, safer route. We look forward to seeing you back in Wanaka again. Kind regards Kirsty and the Wanaka Transfers team.

How much does Private Transfer from Wanaka to Queenstown Central cost?

How far in advance should I book Private Transfer from Wanaka to Queenstown Central?

+

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. +

The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Queenstown?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Queenstown?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
