    uncomfortable And unprofessional experience

My girlfriend and I were very disappointed with this so-called “elite experience” taxi service. It was far from premium. The driver was aggressive, unfriendly, and made us feel uncomfortable throughout the journey. He was constantly using and checking his phone while driving, which made us feel unsafe. On top of that, he kept making phone calls during the trip instead of focusing on the road. We expected a professional, comfortable, and safe experience, but this was the complete opposite. We would not recommend this service and definitely would not use it again

    Viator transportation and communication

When trying to navigate transportation from our hotel in Venice back to the mainland for a private transportation to the airport Viator made the process extremely smooth and communication was beyond excellent. Our water taxi and driver were on time and communicated with each other for our trip. Would recommend Viator when planning any event.

Our driver was excellent. Arrived ahead of time, helped my husband with the luggage and was very friendly.

    Wonderful, convenient service!

We were so pleased with this service provided through Viator! I was very worried about being able to catch a taxi back to the airport after our trip to Venice, so I booked this to be safe. It was well worth it! We were given the driver's name and phone number the night before. We arrived at the pickup location early, and he was already there! I had his phone number so I could easily call and see which taxi he was in. Our driver was Eddie. He was very polite, personable, spoke good English, and was a great driver. So glad I booked this!

How much does Private transfer from Venice, Piazzale Roma to Marco Polo Airport cost?

    +

Prices start at $80 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Venice usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private transfer from Venice, Piazzale Roma to Marco Polo Airport take?

    +

Plan for about 0.3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Venice is not rushed.

Is Private transfer from Venice, Piazzale Roma to Marco Polo Airport worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 36 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.4/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Venice, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Is Private transfer from Venice, Piazzale Roma to Marco Polo Airport suitable for kids and families?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Venice can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Venice and add a light layer if any part of the 0.3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

What are the best things to do in Venice?

    +

On Outty we rank every Venice experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Pasta and Tiramisu Cooking Class with Wine in Venice, Eating Venice Small Group Food & Drinks Tour, Venice Bacaro Food Tour: Eat and Drink like a Venetian. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Venice?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Venice?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
