Car Service and Water Taxi from Venice airport to hotel in Venice

This is the only way to get to Venice from the airport. Especially if you are a group of 10 with luggage. They will hold the reservation for only 2 hours. After that you will lose your money. We made our reservation with the stipulation that we will text them when we arrive. It was good because our flight was delayed 3 hours. The cars met us at the airport and took us to our water taxi. 10 of us with luggage and 2 water taxis. Our stop was near the Rialto Bridge which was close to our hotel. The car service and water taxis made the start of our vacation go smoothly.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re delighted to hear that, even with your 3-hour flight delay, everything went smoothly and our team was able to coordinate the two vehicles and two water taxis for your group of 10 with luggage. We’re especially happy that the transfer to your hotel near the Rialto Bridge was a stress-free start to your vacation. We know that coordinating a larger group in Venice can be challenging, so it was our pleasure to take care of all the details for you. Thank you for choosing Luxer and for sharing your experience. We hope to welcome you back to Venice on your next trip!

    Great transport service.

This is worth every penny when you are flying into a new city and have to figure out water transport as well as vehicular transport. Was met at the airport with a sign and then taken by van to a water taxi. What a beautiful way to enter the city!

Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your kind review. We are delighted to hear that you found the service worthwhile and that your arrival in Venice was smooth and enjoyable. Traveling to a new city can sometimes be challenging, especially when coordinating both land and water transportation, so we are pleased that everything was seamless from the moment you were greeted at the airport. We couldn't agree more—arriving in Venice by water taxi is a truly unique and memorable experience, and we're happy that it helped make your first impression of the city so special. Thank you for choosing our service. We hope to welcome you back to Venice again in the future.

    Transfer to our hotel

Me and my family had a really nice experience with our transfer to Venice and everything was so smooth and easy. Our driver waited for us at the Venice airport, we had a 15 minutes ride and then we had a boat waiting for us to reach our hotel. Thanks again for your help and we hope to come back soon.

Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your kind words. We are delighted to hear that you and your family had such a pleasant experience and that everything went smoothly from your arrival at Venice Airport to your hotel transfer. It was our pleasure to assist you, and we truly appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback. We hope you made wonderful memories in Venice and would be delighted to welcome you back again in the future.

    This was a great...

This was a great experience! We were met at the airport with a charming young host who took very good care of us. She travelled with us from the airport to our hotel helping with luggage, answering any questions and talking to us about our trip. She was exceptional!

Response from the operator: Thanks Charles, we are very happy that you have appreciated our service, we all wait to have you again on board our fleet!

Private Transfer from Venice Airport to Venice: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Venice.

How much does Private Transfer from Venice Airport to Venice cost?

    +

Prices start at $260 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Venice usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Transfer from Venice Airport to Venice take?

    +

Plan for about 0.8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Venice is not rushed.

Is Private Transfer from Venice Airport to Venice worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 43 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4/5 across 41 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Venice, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Transfer from Venice Airport to Venice?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private Transfer from Venice Airport to Venice suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 0.8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private Transfer from Venice Airport to Venice?

    +

Around 14 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Venice can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Venice and add a light layer if any part of the 0.8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Transfer from Venice Airport to Venice start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Venice within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Venice?

    +

On Outty we rank every Venice experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Pasta and Tiramisu Cooking Class with Wine in Venice, Eating Venice Small Group Food & Drinks Tour, Venice Bacaro Food Tour: Eat and Drink like a Venetian. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Venice?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Venice?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
