Viator is a great service provider...

Viator is a great service provider! Our cruise to Alaska terminated in Vancouver, at which time we needed transportation to the SeaTac airport in Seattle. Because of the early arrival time in Vancouver and late night departure from SeaTac to the east coast, I did not want to sit for a long time in the airport. I knew of the Capilano Bridge, as well as Stanley Park in Vancouver, and called Viator to see if arrangements could be made to pick up our party of 8 at the cruise ship dock and taken for a tour of Stanley Park and Capilano Bridge, and then on to SeaTac. The Viator reservationist was very courteous and explained that they had separate tours for both, but not one combined tour. I explained that because of the luggage storage issue for our party, it would be most helpful if we could have the same vehicle for both events. He stated that he would see what could be arranged and spent atleast 30 minutes in trying to reach the van service owner to see if this was possible. While I waited on the line, he kept providing me with updates as to the progress he was making. He was able to make the arrangements and to obtain a discount for the two combined tours. The van driver met us at the ship dock, helped us with our luggage and drove us throughout downtown Vancouver, Chinatown, Gastown, and Stanley Park before arriving at the Capilano Bridge. He was most informative about the history of Vancouver and the various sites through which we travelled. The total tour time was about three hours, and then we left for SeaTac airport which took about four hours with stops for lunch, bathroom breaks, and border crossing which went very smoothly with the help of our guide. I highly recommend Viator, its courteous employees, and the guides and van services that they use.

Our driver was excellent and very...

Our driver was excellent and very professional. One of the reasons we booked a private car to get us from Vancouver to Seattle was the verbal promise of expedited clearance through customs and a 2 1/2 hour trip. However, we sat behind 3 or 4 tour buses and it took us 6 hours to get to Seattle. We had expected to have an afternoon of touring and instead arrived at our hotel at 4:00 p.m. I was not pleased to have to choose between the aquarium and the space needle on Sunday.

Private Transfer from Vancouver to Seattle: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Vancouver.

How much does Private Transfer from Vancouver to Seattle cost?

+

Prices start at $1242 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Vancouver usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Transfer from Vancouver to Seattle take?

+

Plan for about 3.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Vancouver is not rushed.

Is Private Transfer from Vancouver to Seattle worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 44 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.5/5 across 2 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Vancouver, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Transfer from Vancouver to Seattle?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private Transfer from Vancouver to Seattle suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private Transfer from Vancouver to Seattle?

+

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Vancouver can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Vancouver and add a light layer if any part of the 3.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Transfer from Vancouver to Seattle start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Vancouver within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Vancouver?

+

On Outty we rank every Vancouver experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Whistler, Sea to Sky Gondola, & Shannon Falls Tour from Vancouver, Vancouver City Sightseeing Tour: Capilano Suspension Bridge & Vancouver Lookout, The Grand Bicycle Tour of Vancouver. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Vancouver?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Vancouver?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
