Great way to get from Split to Dubrovnik with some Sightseeing on the way
We are so glad we did this! The drive from Split to Dubrovniknis so picturesque and it was fantastic to stop at Kils and Ston! Klis is an amazing fortress and fun to walk through. You could definitely spend more than 1 hour in Ston, but it gave us the chance to see the wall, experience the oysters (which are incredible in small quantities) and enjoy the Dongac- their delicious red wine. Our driver was super nice and very helpful!
Response from the operator: Thank you, Heather, for sharing your wonderful experience. We’re delighted that you enjoyed the scenic journey from Split to Dubrovnik and the opportunity to explore both Klis and Ston along the way. It sounds like you made the most of your time in Ston, from the historic walls to the local oysters and Dingač wine. We’re also very pleased to hear that your driver was friendly and helpful throughout the journey. Combining a comfortable private transfer with memorable stops is exactly the kind of relaxed, enriching travel experience we aim to provide. We would be delighted to welcome you on another journey with Europe Journey in the future.

Smooth ride
Driver was friendly and spoke English well. The ride was steady and smooth as he has probably driven on this route a zillion times. But make sure you put on your safety belt as he was driving over 130 km per hour at some points. Or may be that’s normal for road trips in Europe? 😃
Response from the operator: Dear Huangup, thank you for sharing your experience with us. We are pleased to hear that your driver was friendly, communicated well in English, and provided a smooth and steady journey from Split to Dubrovnik. We also appreciate your comment regarding the driving speed, as passenger safety and comfort are always important to us and we take such feedback seriously. Seat belts should of course be worn throughout the journey, and driving should always follow applicable local road regulations and conditions. Thank you again for choosing Europe Journey, and we hope to welcome you on another comfortable and enjoyable journey in the future.

Very engaging driver. ...
Very engaging driver. Had the appropriate time in our one stop on the transfer. However, driver was driving at speeds in excess of 135 (up to 153 was noted once) km/hr which could concern some clients.

Comfortable Ride
Had a wonderful experience with Matteo for our transfer- gave us wonderful suggestions for when we got to Dubrovnik and offered history along the way. Definitely pricey but the convenience and ease was absolutely worth it!

+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 93 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Split, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

+

What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Split and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

+

+
On Outty we rank every Split experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Split Walking Tour with Professor of History, Split Small-Group Walking Tour with a Magister of History, From Split: Krka Waterfalls, Food & Wine Tasting Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Split?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Split?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
