If you want a lux transfer in the Naples-Positano area, look no futher
Having just landed in Italy for the first time ever, my wife and I were greeted at the airport by Roberto before our bags made it through the carousel. Roberto made us feel very comfortable with his fluent English, being on time, and directing us to his very clean Mercedes van. The ride from Naples to Positano was very smooth and Roberto even gave us a mini-tour showing us some of the landmarks and towns along the way. Roberto was awesome! Very friendly, polite, and professional. We were so happy with Roberto's service that we inquired for another transfer from Positano to Naples to catch a train. We were picked up by Silvio who clearly had the same level of professionalism as Roberto. Silvio also provided fun facts along the route and took the time to help us figure out what part of the train station we need to head towards. I will be personally recommending his service to any of my friends who need a ride in the Naples/Sorrento/Positano area.

The best company for transfers and tours in the Amalfi Coast!
We have used Sorrento Car Tours on each trip to the Amalfi coast and every time we have had a wonderful experience! This time we were met in the Naples train station and Roberto greeted us upon arrival and drove us to our hotel in Positano. The ride was lovely as Roberto pointed out the highlights and landmarks of the area. He is a wonderful guide and the perfect gentleman! A few days later on our return to Naples airport, Rafaelle picked us up promptly at our hotel and we had another stress-free and enjoyable transfer at the end of an amazing trip! Rafaelle was friendly, outgoing, entertaining and informative...just like Roberto! We highly recommend Sorrento Car Tours! It is a wonderful, reliable and professional company with amazing drivers/tour guides, new clean vehicles and an incredible staff! Grazie mille!

Best Transfer Service, Napoli - Positano and Back
Sorrento Car Tours was one of the best decisions we made on our trip! I found them while searching on Reddit and reached out to Roberto. He was so helpful throughout the booking process with great communication as well. He also provided thoughts on locations, pick up, and drop off. The actual ride was so easy. Roberto picked us up at our hotel in Napoli and drove us directly to our hotel in Positano. Then the day we left Angelo picked us up and took us straight to Napoli Centrale. If you’re planning a trip, please reach out and let Roberto show you why Sorrento Car Tours is the way to go!!

Great experience with Sorrento car tours - Roundtrip Naples and Positano.
The communication with Roberto has been professional from start to finish. We were met by Raffaele at Naples airport when we arrived. He drove us safely to Positano. The Mercedes was clean and comfortable and Raffaele was very kind. Roberto drove us from Positano and back to Naples. He is as friendly as Raffaele. They both told us about the area we drove through and gave tips on what to do and see. We are very pleased with Sorrento car tours and will not hesitate to contact them again the next time we need a private transfer in the area.

Perfect service
This was perfect service. We used WhatsApp to text with our driver prior to pickup. Beautiful clean new cars and we had a great conversation along the way. Don’t waste time trying to take public transportation from Naples to Positano. It isn’t difficult, but will take at least half a day so it’s really a question of how you value that time.

Why this scores 61
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private transfer from Naples to Positano: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Naples.
How much does Private transfer from Naples to Positano cost?
+
Prices start at $50 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Naples usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private transfer from Naples to Positano take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Naples is not rushed.
Is Private transfer from Naples to Positano worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Naples, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private transfer from Naples to Positano?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private transfer from Naples to Positano suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private transfer from Naples to Positano?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Naples can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Naples and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private transfer from Naples to Positano start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Naples within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Naples?
+
On Outty we rank every Naples experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Full Day Private Amalfi Coast Tour from Sorrento/Naples/Salerno, Caserta Royal Palace & Gardens Small Group Tour with Shuttle, Naples Pizza and Tiramisu Cooking Class. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Naples?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Naples?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
