The driver didn’t come to...
The driver didn’t come to get us until 2hours after confirmed time Once the driver came he was very nice but when we arrived in Salzburg we had to carry.our luggage 2blocks when he should have gotten a code to enter the Old Town and leave us at our hotel
Response from the operator: Dear Customer, Thank you for your feedback. We apologize for the delay at pickup – the situation was caused by a misunderstanding due to two bookings being made under the same phone number, which led to some confusion in communication. Our dispatch team addressed the issue immediately and the driver arrived to pick you up as soon as possible, with only a minimal delay. We would like to point out that the service was ultimately delivered in full and at a high standard, as is customary with our company. Regarding the drop-off in Salzburg Old Town – unfortunately, the city has strict access restrictions that allow only a limited number of local vehicles with special permits to enter the pedestrian zone. Since your driver came from Munich, access was not possible due to these local regulations. These restrictions are common in many cities across Europe and, in some cases, cannot be bypassed even with the best intentions. We understand that carrying your luggage for a short distance may have been inconvenient, but we did our best to resolve the situation quickly. We handle dozens of transfers every day, and while human error can occasionally occur, we always aim to correct it promptly. Please also note that our company acted correctly in this case, and we work with more than 200 professional transportation partners across Europe to ensure quality service. We hope that despite this situation, your journey was still enjoyable, and we’d appreciate another opportunity to demonstrate the full quality of our services. Kind regards, The Europe Journey Team

Easy, comfy ride. Driver was really nice too. As female travelers who are visiting for the first time, we appreciated the safe transportation options.

Wonderful and Smooth
Romana, Mr. Jiji, and her team made everything seamless. We could not have been happier with the process and journey. We booked the same day as we needed our transfer to Salzburg from Munich. Romana called us within 10 minutes and we chatted through the finer details of our bags, starting, and ending point. Within 75 minutes Mr. Jiji had arrived at our hotel, helped us with our bags through the snow, and delivered us within 90 minutes to our hotel in salzburg. Thank you so much to the team!
Response from the operator: Hello, Anthony! Thank you for your kind words. It was our pleasure to assist you with this transfer. We are happy to know everything was possible to arrange and that it went well. It will be good to see you soon again for any other transfer that you may need in Europe.

Why this scores 53
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private Transfer from Munich to Salzburg, English-speaking driver: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Munich.
How much does Private Transfer from Munich to Salzburg, English-speaking driver cost?
+
Prices start at $70 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Munich usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Transfer from Munich to Salzburg, English-speaking driver take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Munich is not rushed.
Is Private Transfer from Munich to Salzburg, English-speaking driver worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 53 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.7/5 across 3 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Munich, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Transfer from Munich to Salzburg, English-speaking driver?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Transfer from Munich to Salzburg, English-speaking driver suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Transfer from Munich to Salzburg, English-speaking driver?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Munich can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Munich and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Transfer from Munich to Salzburg, English-speaking driver start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Munich within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Munich?
+
On Outty we rank every Munich experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Guided Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial Site Tour with Train from Munich, Munich Classic Bike Tour @ 11.30am with Surfers & beergarden stop, Dachau Memorial Half-Day Tour from Munich (Early-Start). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Munich?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Munich?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
