Paid for two services but only got one
We had an excellent driver but he was new to the area and could not provide any information on the areas we traveled through. We were disappointed that a guide was not provided as stated in the tour description.
Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are pleased to hear that you found the driver excellent and that the transfer itself met your expectations. The service booked was a private transfer from Marseille to Nice with a 2-hour stop in Cannes. According to our records and the driver's report, the stop was completed as scheduled and the full itinerary was provided. During the stop, the driver offered assistance and local recommendations, while respecting your preference to explore independently. We understand that you were expecting a more guided experience. However, this service does not include a licensed tour guide accompanying guests during the stop. Our drivers are local professionals who may share general information about the area, but the experience is primarily designed as a sightseeing transfer rather than a guided walking tour. We appreciate your comments, as they help us better understand how guests interpret the product description and how we can continue improving communication of what is included in each experience. Kind regards, Europe Journey Team

Enjoyed the scenery
Great trip, our driver struggled with his English but went above and below to communicate and make us comfortable. Two hours is definitely not enough time if you like to shop.
Response from the operator: Hello, April! Thank you for your comments. Alex is constantly working on his English level to provide a better service. We're glad he did his best to make you feel comfortable. We hope you'll give us the opportunity to assist you in your next trip in Europe or Mexico.

+

How far in advance should I book Private Transfer from Marseille to Nice with a 2h Stop in Cannes?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Marseille and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

+

What are the best things to do in Marseille?
+
On Outty we rank every Marseille experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Marseille Food Tour – Full Meal of Local Tastes by Do Eat Better, Beyond Bouillabaisse: Diving into Marseille’s Multicultural Stew, Marseille Guided Tour for 4 Hours with a Bilingual Local Guide. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Marseille?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Marseille?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
