    Go straight to Venice

We stopped in Bologna thinking it was going to be a great stop on our way to Venice. The driver (although extremely nice and helpful) seemed a bit confused with where to drop us off, and I didn't think it was worth the cost (or time) at all. Next time I'd skip the stop and just take the train from Florence to Venice. However, I would recommed this service if you're looking to specficially stop somehwere if you absolutely need a driver. He drove safely and was very pleasant.

Response from the operator: Dear Guest, Thank you for your review and for highlighting that our driver was safe, pleasant, and helpful – we truly appreciate your kind words about him. We are sorry to hear that the stop in Bologna did not meet your personal expectations. We always remind travelers that sightseeing stops can feel very different depending on individual interests, the day, and even local events. Many of our guests really enjoy Bologna, but we completely understand that every experience is unique. Our goal is always to provide safe, flexible, and comfortable transfers, and we are glad this part met your expectations. Your comments will help us continue improving, and we hope to welcome you again in the future – perhaps with a different stop that might be a better fit for your interests. Warm regards, The Europe Journey Team

    excellent service

Excellent service. Our driver was prompt, knowledgeable, and friendly. He suggested a specific tour that we do while in Venice, the Murano tour. We took his advice, and it was wonderful. He gave us so many nice recommendations. We highly recommend this company. A+!

Response from the operator: Hi, Melissa! Thank you so much for your kind words! We're thrilled to hear that your driver made such a positive impact on your trip—with punctuality, great recommendations, and friendly service. We're especially glad you enjoyed the Murano tour based on his suggestion. We truly appreciate your recommendation and would love to assist you again on your next European journey.

This was the perfect transfer. Our driver Dejan was amazing! He picked us up exactly on time. Navigated us thought the crazy small streets flawlessly. +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Florence and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

What are the best things to do in Florence?

    +

On Outty we rank every Florence experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Best tour in Florence: Renaissance & Medici Tales - guided by a STORYTELLER, Florence Pizza or Pasta Class & Gelato Making at a Tuscan Farm, Small group Tuscan Wineries, Olive Oil & Gourmet Lunch or Dinner. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Florence?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Florence?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
