    Emo Tours Great Private Transfers!

I had such a great experience with my private transfer from the airport to my hotel (round trip) with Mohamed Hamed and our amazing driver. My flight was a full hour late, but they were both pleasant and welcoming upon my arrival. On the way to my hotel, they even stopped so I could take photos on the Nile! Mohamed recommended I participate on a dinner cruise on the Nile the same night and I’m glad I took him up on the offer. They were both at my hotel at 5am the next morning to bring me back to the airport (long layover). Definitely will be using this service again when I’m in Egypt next! I would highly recommend to solo travelers.

Response from the operator: Dear Lauren , Wow! What a wonderful review, we truly appreciate your business and your trust in us. I am very happy to hear that you have chosen Emo Tours among others for your Holiday in Cairo and we are glad to hear that our staff and service met your needs and expectations. We look forward to welcoming you back to Egypt in the near future. Best Regards Emo Tours Egypt

Cairo Airport Pock Up - Fantastic Service

This review is going to be a bit of a story.....but a very worthy story. After reading many glowing reviews of Emo Tours on Trip Advisor, I decided to use these guys as my chosen tour company while on a 4 day trip to Giza. Booking is a simple process, either pre pay on line or via email. My wife and I arrived at Cairo airport at 3 am in the morning after a disastrous flight with Lufthansa, where we were advised that our luggage had missed the connecting flight. So imagine, 4 days away, no luggage, no communication and no empathy.....while in a strange country. It felt like the beginning of a nightmare. After disembarking the plane, we were met by a very nice gentleman who was holding up a placard with our name on. He advised us that he was there on behalf of our guide at Emo Tours and talked us through the visa process and what we had to do to log the missing luggage.......without this guy, we would of been lost and not known what to do, as he stayed with us for the majority of the time. On exiting the airport, it was apparent that the support was orchestrated by the Emo Tour guide, Mohammed Hamed. This guy turned out to be a god send and a Cairo companion. Mohammed was already aware of our situation and listened to our tales of wo. On the way to Giza, Mohammed and the Driver located a pharmacy (it was 4 am!!!!) so that we could buy some much needed essentials. We also had a pre booked Giza Pyramid half day tour for the same morning, which Mohammed cancelled for us and rearranged. This is where the great service should of stopped........but it didn’t end there. Mohammed kindly gave up his mobile number and advised us to stay in contact over the luggage situation. This was so welcomed. On the Monday we were advised that the suit case would be flying in from Frankfurt and we should have it by Tuesday. Tuesday morning and afternoon came, no luggage. The airport advised that it was out for delivery, but couldn’t confirm a time and neither could the hotel. Mohammed was aware and by the evening he started to make further enquiries for us, even though the lost luggage team had closed at 3 pm. We had pretty much given up, but just after midnight we had a call from Mohammed advising that he had tracked down the courier company and located our case. He would be with us in 30 minutes. This was such a relief......day 3 into our 4 day break, we eventually had our luggage. What a guy! The moral of this story, is without Mohammed Hamed and Emo Tours, our whole experience would of been so different (in a negative way). Mohammed went well over and beyond any kind of expectations, to ensure that the situation was diffused and our break was recovered as best it could. He became a life line and I cannot express our gratitude. If you are considering a airport pick up or booking a tour guide while in Egypt, Emo Tours is the way to go......you may even be lucky and have Mohammed! I cannot thank the guy enough.

Response from the operator: Dear Guest, Thanks very much for your balanced and fair review of Emo Tours Egypt . I'm glad you felt interesting during your holiday with us was well done. It's something we've worked hard on and we're pleased our efforts resonated with you. I also want to thank you for your feedback and criticisms. We've taken your thoughts to heart and we're planning on making some internal changes based on your recommendations. I appreciate your kind words and professional demeanor and look forward to seeing more of your work in the future. Best wishes , Emo Tours Egypt

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Giza can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Giza and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

What are the best things to do in Giza?

    +

The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Giza?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Giza?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
