Do not use!
It I could give 0 stars, I would. Contacted driver to tell him we were ready and he told me I had scheduled for a different airport and he could not take us. I know this is not true because I only knew of one airport to enter. Said he would call me back and let me know if someone else could get us and then hung up on me! We had to take a taxi to make sure we could get to the airport on time to not miss our flight. He did return a call 15 minutes into our Taxi ride. I asked for a refund from the company and Viator and both were not given. DO NOT USE!
Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. After reviewing your booking, we found that the transfer had been reserved for a different airport than the one where you requested pickup on the day of travel. Our driver was present and ready at the booked pickup location in accordance with the reservation details. Unfortunately, due to existing schedules and commitments to other guests, it was not possible to reassign the driver to a different airport at such short notice. We understand how stressful this situation must have been, especially when traveling to catch a flight. However, as the booked service was available at the confirmed pickup location, the booking did not qualify for a refund under our booking terms. We appreciate your feedback and wish you safe and pleasant travels in the future.

Never Showed Up
Avoid Viator at all costs. The driver never showed up. I called the number provided and no one picked up the call. I left multiple messages. 45 minutes later, finally heard back from someone whose English was limited. Something about the driver was in an accident. Told me to just get a taxi! No apologies. I told her that we are a family of six with kids and luggage. How can we find a taxi that can fit us? I asked her if she can find us another driver. My suggestion seemed like a totally foreign concept to her and she said she would call me back. And of course I never heard from her again. One and a hour later, we finally found a taxi. No communication from Viator whatsoever. What a TERRIBLE company!!!
Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We sincerely apologize for the experience you had and understand how frustrating this situation must have been, especially while traveling with your family and luggage. We regret that your driver was unable to complete the transfer due to an unforeseen incident and are sorry that our communication and support during this situation did not meet your expectations. We recognize that timely updates and effective assistance are essential, particularly when unexpected circumstances arise. Your comments have been shared with our local operations team for a thorough review so we can improve our emergency response procedures and communication with guests in similar situations. This is not the level of service we strive to provide, and we sincerely regret the inconvenience caused. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We wish you and your family safe and pleasant travels in the future.

Private Transfer Between Reykjavik or Keflavik and Port: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Reykjavik.
How much does Private Transfer Between Reykjavik or Keflavik and Port cost?
+
Prices start at $343 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Reykjavik usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Transfer Between Reykjavik or Keflavik and Port take?
+
Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Reykjavik is not rushed.
Is Private Transfer Between Reykjavik or Keflavik and Port worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 38 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (1/5 across 2 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Reykjavik, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Transfer Between Reykjavik or Keflavik and Port?
+

Is Private Transfer Between Reykjavik or Keflavik and Port suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Transfer Between Reykjavik or Keflavik and Port?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Reykjavik can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Reykjavik and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Transfer Between Reykjavik or Keflavik and Port start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Reykjavik within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Reykjavik?
+
On Outty we rank every Reykjavik experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Reykjavik Food Walk - Local Foodie Adventure in Iceland, Small-Group Golden Circle, Blue Lagoon with Ticket & Kerid Crater, Reykjavík Small group Walking Tour - by CityWalk. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Reykjavik?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Reykjavik?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
