Excellent tour, outstanding guide!

I thoroughly enjoyed this informative, personalized tour of the magnificent Cairo Opera House, with visits to several typical Egyptian artisan shops. Hassan was an excellent guide. He was friendly and knowledgeable and the tour was a terrific opportunity to ask him questions about Egypt and to get to know Cairo. The inside performance area of the Opera House itself was closed for Covid, but we were able to have a fine tour of the outside of the building and the beautiful grounds around it. The architecture is stunning. Next, we visited a jewelry shop, a papyrus shop (where I especially enjoyed observing how papyrus paper is made) and an essential oils shop for a demonstration. This private tour was very interesting, Hassan is an outstanding guide and it was an excellent introduction to Cairo!

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
