Enjoy convenient pickup from your Bergen hotel at 7:45 a.m. Meet your dedicated tour guide and feel free to share any interests or preferences; your itinerary is flexible and this private tour ensures personalized attention. Hit the E16 road in your private vehicle, traveling by the famous Dale of Norway sweater factory in the village of Dale, then through the town of Voss. Make a brief stop at the Tvindefossen waterfall for photos, take a deep breath of mountain air to smell the clean, pristine waters. Continue your trip to the Stalheim Hotel to visit its well-known terrace, which opens up to fantastic views over the Nærøydalen Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Back in your vehicle, descend the dramatically steep Stalheimskleiva Road to the valley's floor, where you will visit the ancient village of Gudvangen. (notice Stalheimskleiva is closed between Oct 1'st and April 1'st) Depart from Gudvangen on a cruise (additional cost) to Flåm, exploring the area around the Aulandsfjord and Nærøyfjord. Choose between an RIB, a motor yacht and a passenger ferry for your cruise. Upon arrival at Flåm, enjoy lunch in a local restaurant (own expense), then enjoy free time to browse the souvenir shops, the museum of Flåmsbana railway or the local microbrewery at your leisure. After lunch, get back in the car and head towards the scenic Stegastein viewing point, a 30-meter long platform hanging over Aurlandsfjord at 650 meters above sea level. The narrow road and the viewing point will give you some breathtaking pictures and vivid emotions (not visited between Oct 1 st and April 1 st due to snow). Board the Flåmsbana railway from Flåm to the mountain railway station Myrdal, located 2,844 feet (867m) above sea level. During the scenic journey, have your camera ready for views of canyons, mountainsides and waterfalls. Make a brief stop at the gushing Kjøsfossen waterfall. Change trains at Myrdal to head back to Voss; upon arrival you can tour a medieval church dating from 1277 and an 11th-century stone cross. Lastly, take the 1.5-hour return journey by car to your hotel in Bergen to conclude your tour.

Refund?
I'm paying bank card and they end up charging me over £20 for seven days travel. And refused to refund. The customer service assistant on the phone was not trained at all. No polite either.

Poor communication. I emailed several times to see what time I should book the train and boat. No response. I left a message asking them to book it and to use my credit card for the tickets since it is extra. No response. We were picked up on time by a pleasant well spoken young man. No tickets for train or boat trip. He called his boss who was rude. Everything was full except late in the afternoon. So we drove around. Made the most of it. What should have been 8-10 hours was 14! The weather was rainy in the afternoon and visibility was poor on the boat. If we had gone in the morning it would have been beautiful. One email would have changed everything.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your review. I’d like to clarify an important point for future guests: the train and fjord cruise tickets are always booked directly by travelers themselves. We don’t have the ability to reserve or charge those tickets on your behalf, which is why this information is highlighted in the tour description. On the day of your trip, the morning departures were already sold out by the time you arrived in Bergen. To ensure you still got the full experience, we extended your private tour at no extra cost so you could take the afternoon departure instead. That made the day longer than expected, but it also allowed you to enjoy both the Sognefjord and Flåm cruise without additional charges. I’m sorry if this was not communicated clearly enough ahead of time. We’ll continue working on making the logistics as straightforward as possible. I’m glad to hear you appreciated your driver and that, despite the weather, you were able to experience the fjord. The Fjord Tour Team

Worthwhile private tour
Bjorn was prompt, professional, and tailored our trip to meet the needs of our small group, me and my 24YO son. We learned lots of history and random facts about Norway and Norwegians, and had a great time! It is a long day, 11 hours, mostly driving, but it is very scenic, there are well-timed stops for food and restroom, and not having to drive or be in a tourist bus makes it so nice! The personal attention is what you are paying for, and it is definitely worth it!

Fantastic experience
This private tour was the best experience in our trip to Norway. The Sognefjprd may not be referred in the different sites when looking for tour, but it may be one of the best fjords to visit. Due to its small width we were able to come close to the shores and see from a close distance the waterfalls and the beautiful villages. This fjord is unspoiled by mass tourism and i believe it must be one of the most breathtaking scenery. Because of the customisable nature of the tour we were able to stop and had a swim in the fjord!! Our captain and the crew were very nice people, funny and explaining to us the Norvegean way of life. The most important thing was that it was only us on board (6 adults and 8 children) and not stuck on big boats where someone is always blocking your view. It all seemed so intimate and took the best pictures!!

Just an amazing and hassle free day
We were picked up directly at our hotel by the Guide and soon got out of town by a comfortable 6 seater Mercedes where all of us 4 had captains chairs. Was better feet space and comfort than we had in our plane. The Guide took care of all our luggage and we had the most educating conversation along the way to Voss about the scenery we saw. In Gudvange the wonderfull Mr Robert made sure we were to board the Premium cruise before the others - as he knew the personnel onboard the ship. We got more than we expected as he made a fast track for us where none is available to purchase. And this way - we had a first-row seat to the spectacular scenery from the cruise in the Naeroyfjord. The entire day was a true first-class experience where we could see how other travelers were bugged by not having a first-class service. The entire tour was a true delight and comes highly recommended. Kindly Gunter, Walter and Ulrike
Response from the operator: Dear Walter It is really good to know that you were happy with our service on the Flåm tour. As locally based suppliers we are fortunately able to provide insight and views that none of the foreign operators can, and even we are somewhat more costly - we see that people who actually choose the locals experience more and better. I hope little Gunter was happy with his visit to the locomotive. The engineer driving the locomotive is a personal friend, and he was most thrilled about the young Gunter's enthusiasm for trains. I can assure you that such a visit is seldom, but one of the advantages of traveling beyond the main season is that we are able to pull a few strings and do things that are not normally a part of the itinerary. Thanks a million for being the most enthusiastic family and also for choosing us as your vacation partner. Robert sends his regards from his vacation and was most thrilled when I showed him your feedback. I will take your offer for a visit when I come to Schwarzwald in May and look forward to meeting you again. Greetings from the Fjords - Bjorn

Private tour to Sognefjord and Flåm from Bergen, 24 hr refundable: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Bergen.
How much does Private tour to Sognefjord and Flåm from Bergen, 24 hr refundable cost?
+
Prices start at $4042 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Bergen usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private tour to Sognefjord and Flåm from Bergen, 24 hr refundable take?
+
Plan for about 11 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Bergen is not rushed.
Is Private tour to Sognefjord and Flåm from Bergen, 24 hr refundable worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.5/5 across 27 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Bergen, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private tour to Sognefjord and Flåm from Bergen, 24 hr refundable?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private tour to Sognefjord and Flåm from Bergen, 24 hr refundable suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 11-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private tour to Sognefjord and Flåm from Bergen, 24 hr refundable?
+
Around 9 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Bergen can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Bergen and add a light layer if any part of the 11-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private tour to Sognefjord and Flåm from Bergen, 24 hr refundable start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Bergen within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Bergen?
+
On Outty we rank every Bergen experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Walking Tour in Bergen of the Past and Present, Guided Tour To Nærøyfjorden, Flåm & Stegastein - incl. 2h cruise, Discover Bergen on Foot and Boat. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Bergen?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Bergen?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
