Superb day with a superb guide
Basel was my tour guide for my day tour of Mt. Nebo, Madaba and Jerash. He was punctual, he speaks excellent English, is very amiable and friendly, and very knowledgeable. Not only did he tell me about the historic sites we were visiting, but he also answered all my questions about Jordanian customs, culture, history, politics, religion, national exports, education in Jordan etc. Additionally, I had accidentally left my Jordan pass back at the hotel, and he went out of his way to try and accommodate my mistake by asking locals if we could email my pdf to their computer so we could print it out again. We were unable to do this despite several attempts, but the lengths he went to to try and fix MY problem were truly commendable, and way beyond the call of duty. I had a fantastic experience visiting these wonderful historic sites, and I HIGHLY recommend Basel to anyone wishing to do any tours of Jordan. Thanks Basel for a wonderful day, and for the truly fond memories of Jordanian hospitality you extended towards me.

Ask for Hasan
Our tour of Madaba and Mount Nebo was excellent! Our guide, Hasan Mahmoud, was the best and most knowledgeable guide we had on our visit to Jordan. If I had known about Hasan I would have booked all of my tours through his company and specified that he be our guide. Not only did he introduce us to the historical and archaeological sites, but he explained the significance of the sites for the time that they were built and also the role that they played through key times in history. One very important thing for me is that Hasan’s English is perfect. The best of any guide we experienced! That enabled me to hear him clearly while riding in the car as well as at the sites we visited. While we were on our tour, Hasan told us about the history and culture of modern Jordan, which really helped us appreciate the land and people around us! For lunch he took us to a restaurant where he was known because he and his family eat there. An added plus: Hasan drives a brand new air-conditioned car!
Response from the operator: Thank you. Looking forward to having you, your family, and friends with us again.

Mr Jebreen took my son to this site...

Mr Jebreen took my son to this site and my 15 year old son love it. What surprised my son was that he met his cousin from California upon arriving Mt. Nebo. I skipped this tour because I was not feeling well, but Mr. Bassam Jebreen really took care of my 15 year old son and my returned to our hotel with a big smile on his face.

Private Tour to Madaba Mosaic City and Mount Nebo from Amman: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Amman.
How much does Private Tour to Madaba Mosaic City and Mount Nebo from Amman cost?
+
Prices start at $113 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Amman usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Tour to Madaba Mosaic City and Mount Nebo from Amman take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Amman is not rushed.
Is Private Tour to Madaba Mosaic City and Mount Nebo from Amman worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 54 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.1/5 across 11 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Amman, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Tour to Madaba Mosaic City and Mount Nebo from Amman?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Tour to Madaba Mosaic City and Mount Nebo from Amman suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Tour to Madaba Mosaic City and Mount Nebo from Amman?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Amman can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Amman and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Tour to Madaba Mosaic City and Mount Nebo from Amman start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Amman within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Amman?
+
On Outty we rank every Amman experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include From Amman: Petra and Wadi rum Private/Group Full day Tour, Discover Trax Jo Playground and Traffic Park Fun, From Amman :Private or Group Full day tour to Petra. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Amman?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Amman?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
