    Loved Wat Arun!

Donut was a fantastic guide! The porcelain towers at Wat Arun right on the river bank were gorgeous. Highly recommend this tour if you want to see the main highlights easily.

Each stop had its own character

The Grand Palace was full of colour and there was something to look at in every corner. Wat Pho felt completely different, more peaceful, and the Reclining Buddha was definitely something I wanted to see while in Bangkok. Then Wat Arun had its own style again, especially all the patterns and details on the towers. Donut really added something to the day. She has a great personality and we clicked with her straight away. There was plenty of joking around between stops and she shared little local tips and things about Bangkok that we probably wouldn’t have picked up ourselves. By the end it felt more like spending the day with someone we already knew rather than just following a tour guide. Donut was a big part of why we enjoyed this tour so much.

    Totally worth it!

Really cool tour! The Reclining Buddha is huge, and the Temple of Dawn literally looks like something out of a film set. Annie was awesome and made sure we didn't get lost in the crowds.

    Lovely temples and great service

The temples were really beautiful and we enjoyed every stop. Noc was a lovely guide, very knowledgeable. The car service made everything easy too, picking us up and dropping us close to each place so we didn’t have to walk around looking for transport. Everything was well taken care of. We were especially impressed with Noc, she was so kind and lovely to spend the day with.

    Well planned day

Excellent way to see the major sights of Bangkok. There's a lot to see and a lot to learn. Our guide was organised, he made the structure of the day clear, and took great photos of us all. He also suggested an extra activity (long tail boats) that worked brilliantly.

Private Tour to Grand Palace of Bangkok, Pho and Arun Temple: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Bangkok.

How much does Private Tour to Grand Palace of Bangkok, Pho and Arun Temple cost?

    +

Prices start at $131 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Bangkok usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Tour to Grand Palace of Bangkok, Pho and Arun Temple take?

    +

Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Bangkok is not rushed.

Is Private Tour to Grand Palace of Bangkok, Pho and Arun Temple worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 86 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 93 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most highly reviewed in Bangkok, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Tour to Grand Palace of Bangkok, Pho and Arun Temple?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private Tour to Grand Palace of Bangkok, Pho and Arun Temple suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private Tour to Grand Palace of Bangkok, Pho and Arun Temple?

    +

Around 33 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Bangkok can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Bangkok and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Tour to Grand Palace of Bangkok, Pho and Arun Temple start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Bangkok within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Bangkok?

    +

On Outty we rank every Bangkok experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Bangkok Backstreets Food Tour with 15+ Tastings, Old Siam Bangkok Food Tour with 15+ Tastings, Tingly Thai Cooking Class with Morning Market Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Bangkok?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Bangkok?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
