A Memorable Private Tour to Ayutthaya
Our private tour to Ayutthaya was one of the most meaningful experiences of our trip to Thailand. Alex was an excellent guide, very professional, warm, and knowledgeable. She explained the history of the ancient capital in a way that was clear and interesting, without making it feel too heavy or difficult to follow. We could really understand how important Ayutthaya was in Thai history, and that made every ruin and every old brick wall feel much more special. The tour was very comfortable and well organized. We had enough time to walk around, take photos, ask questions, and simply enjoy the atmosphere. The ancient temples were impressive, especially the large Buddha statue and the beautiful old ruins that still show how grand the city once was. The private boat ride around the island was also a beautiful part of the day. It gave us a peaceful view of Ayutthaya from the water and felt like a perfect contrast to walking through the historical sites. Alex was patient, kind, and very attentive throughout the day. She helped us appreciate not only the famous sights, but also the small details we would have missed on our own. This tour felt personal, comfortable, and truly memorable. I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to experience Ayutthaya in a deeper and more enjoyable wa

Ayutthaya Was a Highlight of Our Trip
This was one of the best days we had in Thailand. Alex was warm, patient, and very easy to talk to. She helped us understand what we were looking at instead of just giving us dates and names. The ruins had such a peaceful feeling, and the boat ride gave us a completely different view of the old city.

Nate made of our tour a great experience
'Nate' was on time for our tour. He did a very well Job explaning us the history of Ayutthaya. We have us the option to take our time and be on our own pace in the temples and recommended Thai dishes for our lunch. He also responded questions about other topics like Muay Thai and his own experience as a monk. He also took a lot of Photos and shared them later with us. His English is very easy to understand. Mr. Ng is an excellent driver.

A fun visit at the Ayuthaya and boat ride tour
Our tour guide, Nate and driver, Mr. No. 1 came to our hotel at Grande Centre Point to pick us up for the Ayuthaya and boat tour at 9am. Nate gave us a brief history of the Thai culture during our one hour drive from Bangkok to Ayuthaya. We visited a few temples and went on a one hour boat ride around the Ayuthaya Island. Then, we had lunch at Raman Tha Luang Riverside Restaurant and Bar. Their grilled River prawns were great! Mr. No. 1 was very attentive and had prepared cold towels for us during the trip. Nate also got us ice water bottles during our walks around the temples. Overall, it was a really fun trip. We will definitely take more tours from Trip Advisor and NocNoc Travel.
Response from the operator: Dear Valued Guest, Thank you for joining our Private Tour to Ayutthaya, a World Heritage Site, with a boat tour. We are delighted that you had a wonderful experience with your guide Nate. We truly appreciate your support and hope to welcome you again on your next visit to Thailand. Why this scores 80
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private tour to Ayutthaya and Boat Tour (Customizable): questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Bangkok.
How much does Private tour to Ayutthaya and Boat Tour (Customizable) cost?
+
Prices start at $50 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Bangkok usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private tour to Ayutthaya and Boat Tour (Customizable) take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Bangkok is not rushed.
Is Private tour to Ayutthaya and Boat Tour (Customizable) worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 80 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 36 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Bangkok, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private tour to Ayutthaya and Boat Tour (Customizable)?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private tour to Ayutthaya and Boat Tour (Customizable) suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private tour to Ayutthaya and Boat Tour (Customizable)?
+
Around 13 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Bangkok can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Bangkok and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private tour to Ayutthaya and Boat Tour (Customizable) start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Bangkok within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Bangkok?
+
On Outty we rank every Bangkok experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Bangkok Backstreets Food Tour with 15+ Tastings, Old Siam Bangkok Food Tour with 15+ Tastings, Tingly Thai Cooking Class with Morning Market Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Bangkok?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Bangkok?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
