    If you’re coming to...

If you’re coming to Singapore, you must go on this tour! First, you get to try all types of local foods. We went to places and tried foods that we never would have tried or found. Leo took us to four different hawker centers, found tables for our group of five, and gave us information about each place we went. Most of them were Michelin. Secondly, we learned about the past, present, and future of Singapore. Well worth it! We were so full afterwards!

Response from the operator: Dear Tiffany, I was so concerned that I did not provide enough food, you were tucking in with gusto. I am just so happy our services meet your expectation. Your satisfaction is our reward. Thank you so much for the review. Leo

    Tour-about Singapore with Leo Loo

Best tour we have ever done. Leo is friendly, professional, reliable, really knowledgeable and flexible to your needs. The Hawker Market food tastings were exceptional, Michelin starred or mentioned and you will definitely not be hungry!!! We did 2 tours with Leo and cannot recommend him highly enough❤️

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for the great review. The Best is Yet to be Leo

Amazing tour and a great introduction to Singapore!

I had a really fantastic time with Leo on this tour with my husband and my 3.5yo son. Leo was really knowledgeable and it was an amazing experience not only seeing the hawker centres and showing us where and how the locals eat, but also sharing his experience as a Singaporean local and his appreciation for his city. I really enjoyed how the tour started by introducing us how to order a coffee like a local and also really loved the introduction to the Singapore CBD through his tour through the Singapore City Gallery and him sharing his knowledge about the city. We stayed in Singapore for 7 days and over the course of our stay we re-visited some of the places we tried on the tour. Highly recommend this tour!!

Amazing Hawker Center Tour with Leo!

This was our favorite tour of our entire trip! Leo took us to all the best stalls across three different hawker centers, introducing us to dishes we wouldn’t have found on our own and ensuring we tasted a wide range of local favorites. Beyond the food, Leo gave us a comprehensive history of Singapore’s development and urban planning, which gave us incredibly helpful context as we explored the city on our own over the next few days. His knowledge, warmth, and clear passion for Singapore made this tour truly special. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to experience Singapore’s food culture and understand the city on a deeper level.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for the wonderful review

PRIVATE TOUR - Singapore Chinatown Food Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Singapore.

How much does PRIVATE TOUR - Singapore Chinatown Food Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $161 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Singapore usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does PRIVATE TOUR - Singapore Chinatown Food Tour take?

    +

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Singapore is not rushed.

Is PRIVATE TOUR - Singapore Chinatown Food Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 37 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Singapore, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule PRIVATE TOUR - Singapore Chinatown Food Tour?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is PRIVATE TOUR - Singapore Chinatown Food Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book PRIVATE TOUR - Singapore Chinatown Food Tour?

    +

Around 13 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Singapore can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Singapore and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does PRIVATE TOUR - Singapore Chinatown Food Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Singapore within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Singapore?

    +

On Outty we rank every Singapore experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Singapore Highlights Small Group Bike Tour on Full-Sized Bicycles, Lion City Bike Tour of Singapore, Singapore River Cruise, Night Garden Rhapsody & Spectra by CYT. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Singapore?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Singapore?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
