Machu Picchu & Cusco (Sacred Valley)

Our trip to Peru was awesome. Loved both tours experiences with Kantur (Machu Picchu and Cusco Sacred Valley)... Marveled at the wonder of the Inca architecture (Pisaq, Ollantaytambo & Chinchero), truly enlightening. Our guide, Henry and driver Miguel, made us feel like locals! They were funny and super knowledgeable, taking us to the best hidden spots.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much! We’re thrilled you enjoyed your tours and that Henry and Miguel made you feel like locals. Hope to see you again in Peru!

A magical day in the Sacred Valley

Where do I even begin? Edyy and Kantu Peru Tours created an experience so authentic, so deeply personal, that it moved me in ways I didn’t expect. I’ll admit, I was hesitant to book. Finding something through social media with very few reviews is scary. I trusted my gut, and I am so glad I did. From the sacred Pachamama blessing ceremony with a shaman at Lake Piurey, to a home visit in Chinchero where we cut barley, fed the guinea pigs, walked alpacas through surreal Andean scenery, and cooked alongside a local family, every single moment felt intentional and real. We ate and danced together, received handmade floral necklaces, and were welcomed like guests in their home. The Pachamanca cooking experience was something I will never forget. It was truly beautifully immersive and we left feeling so grateful and grounded. What truly sets Edyy apart is his thoughtfulness and flawless communication. He personally met us at the lake, took the most beautiful photos I never expected, and seamlessly coordinated two of us transferring to the airport while the other two continued with the homestay experience. Not one detail was missed. Our guide Rudy was also wonderful. He was so kind and patient, translating Quechua and guiding us through every step with smiles and warmth. This was exactly what I was searching for, a way to truly connect with the local people, immerse in their culture, and experience something authentic rather than touristic. Edyy and Kantu Peru Tours have built something incredibly special. The memories they create are cherished gifts I will take with me forever.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your beautiful and heartfelt review! We’re truly honored to know that your experience with Edyy, Rudy, and our team was so meaningful and authentic. It means a lot to hear that you felt connected with the local culture and that every detail made your journey special. We will gladly share your kind words with the team. It was a pleasure having you with us, and we hope to welcome you again in Peru!

Great two-week trip in Peru

Our two week trip through Peru with Kantu Tours was excellent. In Cusco, Roony stood out as a guide for his knowledge and closeness, making each visit especially interesting. The Inca Trail was an unforgettable experience, perfectly organized. And the stay in the Amazon rainforest with Paul was the ideal closure, with a guide close and very enriching. All Mary's preparation and help during the trip was excellent.

Response from the operator: ¡Muchas gracias por su hermoso comentario!. Nos alegra saber que disfrutaron su viaje de dos semanas por Perú y cada una de las experiencias. Transmitiremos sus palabras a Roony, Paul y Mary. Será un gusto atenderlos nuevamente.

Amazing Private Tour of Sacred Valley.

We really enjoyed the Sacred Valley tour. Our guide and driver were both great, the minibus was comfortable and spacious with air-condition and the restaurant we stopped at for lunch was so nice with amazing food. The guide was very knowledgeable and talked us through lots of facts and history at each drop off and in between. The route itself is just gorgeous - I couldn’t stop staring out of the window! This tour definitely felt quite premium as it was very comfortable and well organised.

Response from the operator: Hello Vasco P. Thank you for your incredible comment, this motivates us to continue offering the best deal on trips to Cusco - Peru. We hope to see you again in the future. Regards!

Private Tour Sacred Valley Of The Incas 1 Day: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cusco.

How much does Private Tour Sacred Valley Of The Incas 1 Day cost?

+

Prices start at $230 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cusco usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Tour Sacred Valley Of The Incas 1 Day take?

+

Plan for about 10.2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cusco is not rushed.

Is Private Tour Sacred Valley Of The Incas 1 Day worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 54 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cusco, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Tour Sacred Valley Of The Incas 1 Day?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private Tour Sacred Valley Of The Incas 1 Day suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 10.2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private Tour Sacred Valley Of The Incas 1 Day?

+

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cusco can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cusco and add a light layer if any part of the 10.2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Tour Sacred Valley Of The Incas 1 Day start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cusco within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Cusco?

+

On Outty we rank every Cusco experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Sacred Valley Full Day Tour, Peruvian Cooking Class Cocktails and Market Tour in Cusco, Cusco: Rainbow Mountain & Red Valley Premium Day Trip with Meals. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Cusco?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Cusco?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
