Pisa
After lunch, we will proceed to Pisa for a self-guided visit to the "Miracles Square." Your tour continues with the exploration of the city of Pisa, providing ample time for you to admire and capture photographs of the renowned Leaning Tower, along with other significant monuments in the square, including the Baptistery and the Cathedral. The Leaning Tower, with its distinctive tilt, began leaning during its construction in the 12th century due to the soft ground unable to adequately support the structure's weight. The lean further progressed until the completion of construction in the 14th century. Subsequent remedial work undertaken between 1993 and 2001 stabilized the structure, reducing the tilt to 3.97 degrees. Climbing to the top of the Leaning Tower of Pisa offers a unique and breathtaking experience, providing a stunning panoramic view of the town. The return to your location is scheduled for 5.00 pm.
