Outstanding customer service!
As a British traveller based in SaudiArabia travelling to Aqaba through the AROYA cruise, I would like to specially leave a glowing review for Zaid Tours and Travels in Jordan, honestly their owner Carol and their agent Safinaz has shown outstanding customer service and taken their time to answer all my questions and shown continued patience and support with me throughout the process of booking the experience, unfortunately I had to cancel the trip to Petra for personal reasons, but I was given a full refund and they were very professional and kept me informed on email about the refund process which really set my mind at ease. I wish Carol, Safinaz and Zaid Travels continued prosperity and success, they are extremely professional, a true asset and a wonderful reflection of their country.
Response from the operator: Thank you very much, can't wait to have you here with us in Jordan.

More to be desired
I booked this trip on TripAdvisor mostly off of the reviews. Overall the trip was good - the driver who came to pick is up was on time. The tour guide was also informative. The price of the tour as others have mentioned is quite steep for the offering. The tour guide was only with us for 2hr and we were left on our own for much of the day. If the price was lowered, I think the value would be more appropriate or more time with the guide.
Response from the operator: Good day, thank you for your comment. I am happy to hear our services were up to standard as specified, and it met your satisfaction. Please note that the price we offer for private services is very competitive, value for money; as the prices of the shore excursions from the cruises directly are way more expensive and much higher than our prices. Many cruises only offer group tours.

Great experience
Great driver and Petra guide. They did a good job. I’m very happy. I was picked up from my hotel on time. The driver and guide were very pleasant. Highly recommended
Response from the operator: Thank you for your comments and for sharing your experience with us. The nicest complement that our team can get is your desire to return to Jordan with us. We are truly happy to learn that you enjoyed your holiday with us and even, it was difficult to leave. What a complement indeed! Looking forward to your next visit.

Why this scores 73
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private Tour: Petra and Little Petra Day Trip from Aqaba: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Aqaba.
How much does Private Tour: Petra and Little Petra Day Trip from Aqaba cost?
+
Prices start at $53 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Aqaba usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Tour: Petra and Little Petra Day Trip from Aqaba take?
+
Plan for about 9 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Aqaba is not rushed.
Is Private Tour: Petra and Little Petra Day Trip from Aqaba worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 73 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 26 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Aqaba, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Tour: Petra and Little Petra Day Trip from Aqaba?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Tour: Petra and Little Petra Day Trip from Aqaba suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 9-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Tour: Petra and Little Petra Day Trip from Aqaba?
+
Around 9 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Aqaba can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Aqaba and add a light layer if any part of the 9-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Tour: Petra and Little Petra Day Trip from Aqaba start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Aqaba within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Aqaba?
+
On Outty we rank every Aqaba experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Diving Experience in The Heart of Red Sea in Aqaba, Wadi Rum Full Day Jeep Tour + Overnight & Dinner in Bedouin Camp, Diving, Snorkeling & Leisure Cruises by Boat. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Aqaba?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Aqaba?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
