    Private Tour-It's Worth the Money!

We had a great time with Francois. He arrived on time and made sure our entire trip was well planned and executed. He was entertaining as well as informative. His tips at the Moonlight Sanctuary and Philip Island were very useful. We skipped all the hustle and bustle of a large group and a big bus full of people! It's worth booking a private tour with Australian Private Tours. Cameron runs the company well and takes good care of the customers and customizes the right itinerary. We highly recommend this trip!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your lovely review and for joining us on tour. Cameron has spent years travelling around Australia hand picking experiences and places to visit for his clients. we only pick the best of the best! We are so glad to hear you enjoyed our private tour of Phillip Island with Australian Private Tours. We hope to see you again in the future! Warm regards, Jess

    Amazing and unbelievable day!

We had an unbelievable day well spent with our guide, Francois. He had several helpful ideas about our other trips and he was so knowledgeable about the places we visited. He took time to get to know my daughter and her boyfriend. And at the end of the night, he let us sleep all the way home since we had only gotten 3 hrs of sleep the night before and we had an early day ahead of us the following day. We all loved getting to know him. If you want an amazing day, request Francois for your trip!!

Easy, simple, and fun - the perfect trip trifecta!

I found Cam via the Google several years ago when I needed to arrange for a tour for relatives. As it was their first time in Melbourne, of course we did the penguins! It was great - Cam listened, suggested multiple options and executed a fun, easy trip. I've subsequently took several trips with Cam and several of his guides (Francois, Julie, etc) and each time, the trips have been drama free, stressless, and simple. Having been with multiple groups, they handle a van full of rambunctious kids as well as they do 4 adults doing a tasteful wine afternoon in the Yarra.

[Private Tour] “Penguin Parade” Phillip Island Tour.: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Melbourne.

How much does [Private Tour] “Penguin Parade” Phillip Island Tour. cost?

    +

Prices start at $721 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Melbourne usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does [Private Tour] “Penguin Parade” Phillip Island Tour. take?

    +

Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Melbourne is not rushed.

Is [Private Tour] “Penguin Parade” Phillip Island Tour. worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 55 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Melbourne, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule [Private Tour] “Penguin Parade” Phillip Island Tour.?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is [Private Tour] “Penguin Parade” Phillip Island Tour. suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 10-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book [Private Tour] “Penguin Parade” Phillip Island Tour.?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Melbourne can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Melbourne and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does [Private Tour] “Penguin Parade” Phillip Island Tour. start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Melbourne within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Melbourne?

    +

On Outty we rank every Melbourne experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Melbourne: Yarra Valley Wine, Gin, Whisky and Chocolate Tour, Yarra Valley Wine Tour w Exclusive Gin, Cider & Chocolate Tasting, Yarra Valley Wine Tour from Melbourne - Choc, Gin & Good Times. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Melbourne?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Melbourne?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
