Paulista Avenue has it all!
This was a wonderful tour upon arrival in San Paulo! Paulista Avenue is full of cultural centers, shopping, museums, and art galleries…you just have to know where to look…hence this tour with Dóris who was terrific! It really laid the groundwork of what this city is all about currently and how it started, but geographically too. I kept visiting or passing through Paulista Avenue all week to join other tours.
Response from the operator: Thank you for such a lovely review! 💙 We’re delighted that your tour along Paulista Avenue was such a great introduction to São Paulo. It’s wonderful to hear that the experience helped you better understand the city’s history, culture, and neighborhoods—and even inspired you to return to Paulista Avenue throughout the rest of your trip. 😊 We’ll be sure to share your kind words with Dóris. She’ll be so happy to know her guidance made such a positive impact on your visit. We hope to welcome you back to São Paulo for even more discoveries on your next trip to Brazil! 🇧🇷✨

This Is a Great Tour of Sao Paolo
This walking tour was fantastic! Marcio was our guide and gave us a ton of information about the history of Brazil and Paulista Avenue. We visited several important sites on our tour and learned a whole lot. I highly recommend this tour and also highly recommend doing it on a Sunday since the avenue is closed to vehicular traffic on Sundays which made the walk very exciting and vibrant. Thank you so much!
Response from the operator: Thank you for your wonderful review! 😊 We're so happy to hear that Marcio made your walking tour along Paulista Avenue informative and enjoyable. Sundays truly bring a vibrant energy to the avenue, and we're glad you had the chance to experience it. We hope to welcome you again for more memorable experiences in São Paulo!

Private Tour: Paulista Avenue—The Most Famous Avenue in Brazil: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Sao Paulo.
How much does Private Tour: Paulista Avenue—The Most Famous Avenue in Brazil cost?
+
Prices start at $93 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Sao Paulo usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Tour: Paulista Avenue—The Most Famous Avenue in Brazil take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Sao Paulo is not rushed.
Is Private Tour: Paulista Avenue—The Most Famous Avenue in Brazil worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 69 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Sao Paulo, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Tour: Paulista Avenue—The Most Famous Avenue in Brazil?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Tour: Paulista Avenue—The Most Famous Avenue in Brazil suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Tour: Paulista Avenue—The Most Famous Avenue in Brazil?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Sao Paulo can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Sao Paulo and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Tour: Paulista Avenue—The Most Famous Avenue in Brazil start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Sao Paulo within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Sao Paulo?
+
On Outty we rank every Sao Paulo experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Best of Rio in One Day: Christ Redeemer, Sugarloaf & Local Lunch, 5-hour Private Tour Of São Paulo With Its Main Sights – Optional Airport Pickup, 6-Hour Classic Half-Day Private Tour of São Paulo – Optional Airport Pickup. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Sao Paulo?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Sao Paulo?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
