Not to be trusted
Dubai is beautiful but the experience we had with the tour organizers, Arslan, Sikander and the company I don't know how they are, are not to be trusted. A family member recommend Arslan because they went before us and found him good. Unfortunately for us was another story!! I paid everything in advance both transport and tours. Most of the attractions we managed to see everything after some arguments as I had quiet a full itenery. I sent him the places and schedule where to go but after paying everything he said that he didn't understood where I wanted to go and started trying to leave places out. One of the was the la Perla Show which I really wanted to see!! They said they are going to refund the money but till this day haven't received anything!!His friend, Sikander manage to get me another set of tickets very much more expensive but we managed to see it. I highly recommend, it an over whelming show!! U think it was a whole havoc between them!! Arslan was massaging me that he is losing money as he was not covered with what I paid due to the misunderstanding!! Which wasn't the case!! All cars that picked us up where disaster!! Dirty and not good to drive long distances with high speed. Never prayed so much!!! All drivers were texting me to send the money because Arslan didn't pay them and the cherry on the cake was our last trip to the airport which was early morning, the taxi didn't turn up!! The high ratings on this site are from Arslan, Sikander and their friends so be careful don't trust them. There are many more trusted agencies and transport in Dubai is definitely no problem at all times!! Don't book with them !!

Worst Tour Ever!!!
I tried to leave a zero star rating but was unable to. The tour was the very worst tour I have ever been on. Firstly the ticket said the tour started a 8 am, at 8.20 approximately I got a WhatsApp message informing me I had a tour booked and asking what time I would like to be picked up, The driver finally arrived at 9.30am. This was for 5 hour tour of Old & new Dubai, the first thing the driver asked was where I wanted to go... this man was not a tour guide he was a taxi driver and had no clue what he was doing!!! I expected some sort of commentary telling us about Dubai, he said nothing the the whole time we were with him. After visiting only 3 sites we decided not to go to the museum and asked the driver to go to The Burj Khalifa, at which point the driver threw his arm in the air and said "I take you back to hotel" and that ended the most disgraceful tour I have ever been on. It was a complete was of my money and my time. I suggest you avoid the tour company completely and don't have your time and money wasted like me!!!

Why this scores 45
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private Tour of Old and New Dubai: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Dubai.
How much does Private Tour of Old and New Dubai cost?
+
Prices start at $500 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Dubai usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Tour of Old and New Dubai take?
+
Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Dubai is not rushed.
Is Private Tour of Old and New Dubai worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 45 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.7/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Dubai, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Tour of Old and New Dubai?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Tour of Old and New Dubai suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Tour of Old and New Dubai?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Dubai can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Dubai and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Tour of Old and New Dubai start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Dubai within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Dubai?
+
On Outty we rank every Dubai experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Dubai Premium Red Dunes Safari, Camels & 5* BBQ at Al Khayma Camp, Dubai: Red Dunes Safari, Quad, Camel, Dune Bash, BBQ & Shows, Dubai Dune Buggy Safari Tour in Red Dunes Options. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Dubai?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Dubai?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
