Fantastic day in Old and New Delhi
Very nice and interesting tour in Old and New Delhi, despite of a temperature of 52 degrees. Our guide Prerak and the sikh driver were fantastic. We visited the 11 différents places in one day. We also add the very interesting National Museum. Only, one point must be increase : we don't need to arrive more than 2 hours before the Water Show. Thank's for all.

You will end the day hungry for more and wishing you had booked more days!
We had the number one driver - D.K. who keeps a perfectly clean car and amazingly drives in traffic coming at us from all directions! Our guide Mahesh was very knowledgeable and kept us moving in his patient manner. We booked several days of private tours with these two. And all I can say is that if you only have booked one day, you will be hungry for more and wishing you had more days! Perhaps you do, and so I highly recommend any of the tours with this company. We ended up booking many private day tours with 3 different guides through Pacific Classic Tours India. I cannot say enough how impressed we were with the first class service. We always had bottled water, the car was very roomy & comfortable. D.K. drives very well and so makes the passenger very relaxed. Mahesh shared the history and complex weaving of these historical places with present day India. The restaurants were chosen for safety with tourists who might have sensitive stomachs. This was a first class tour at a reasonable price.

I spent a lot of time comparing the seven various Delhi day tours listed on Viator. This one seemed the most clear and comprehensive -- on paper. Happily, in practice, it was also quite good.

The guide Mr. Singh and driver arrived early and were waiting for me a 9:00 in the lobby. Plus, a boss from the company joined them to ensure that all was well.

The guide was knowledgeable and receptive about squeezing in two extra destinations feasible since it was Sunday and traffic was not so heavy. He was also good about giving the right amount of information balanced not too little and not too much boring overkill. He also had a depth of knowledge to draw on to answer any questions.

The official tour does not include a set lunch but they let you do that as you wish. I wanted caffeine and hit Starbucks when I grabbed a small sandwich.

I was quite please with this city tour. My main tip is to avoid the heavy traffic and go on a Sunday if you can.

Excellent tour all round
I was very impressed with the professionalism and knowledge of both Mr Sharma and Sunil. We felt very safe and the private tour was very insightful. Will definitely book again with this company in the future. Best wishes, Hannan

Why this scores 63
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private Tour of Old and New Delhi Including Multimedia Water Show: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for New Delhi.
How much does Private Tour of Old and New Delhi Including Multimedia Water Show cost?
+
Prices start at $54 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in New Delhi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Tour of Old and New Delhi Including Multimedia Water Show take?
+
Plan for about 9 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in New Delhi is not rushed.
Is Private Tour of Old and New Delhi Including Multimedia Water Show worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in New Delhi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Tour of Old and New Delhi Including Multimedia Water Show?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Tour of Old and New Delhi Including Multimedia Water Show suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 9-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Tour of Old and New Delhi Including Multimedia Water Show?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in New Delhi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in New Delhi and add a light layer if any part of the 9-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Tour of Old and New Delhi Including Multimedia Water Show start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central New Delhi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in New Delhi?
+
On Outty we rank every New Delhi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Taj Mahal & Agra Private Tour By AC Car From Delhi with 5* Meal, Taj Mahal & Agra Fort Private Day Trip From Delhi with 5* Lunch, Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Baby Taj Day Tour from Delhi by Car. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit New Delhi?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in New Delhi?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
