10/10 Viman Experiences- highly recommend
We cannot recommend Viman Experiences more highly. Manuel was truly the most professional host to communicate with, always going above and beyond. We had the best time on the boat day along the Amalfi and stopping at La Tonnarella for lunch was such a special addition too. We also highly reccomend using Viman Experiences for airport transfers to and from Naples airport to Positano for a fuss-free and zero stress experience upon arrival and departure. Thank you so much Manuel, we are so grateful for you and will be telling all our friends and family to use Viman!

Perfect Day in Paradise!
This was truly a perfect day in paradise! We cruised along the stunning coastline from Sorrento to Positano, stopping at a beautiful rocky beach where we were able to jump off the boat and swim to shore. It was an unforgettable experience surrounded by breathtaking views. We enjoyed an amazing lunch in Nerano and then continued our journey to Capri, where we had another opportunity to swim and enjoy the beauty of the Mediterranean. Every moment of the day was incredible. Manuel was an exceptional host—knowledgeable, passionate, and dedicated to making our experience special. The captain was also wonderful and made us feel safe and well taken care of throughout the trip. This was one of the highlights of our vacation, and we highly recommend this charter experience to anyone looking to explore the Coast in a truly special way!

Wonderful experience
From the very beginning, Emanuel was absolutely amazing! He met with me several times to go over all of our options and helped us organize every detail of our trip. Since I was paying a significant amount of money online, I was understandably nervous about whether everything was legitimate. Emanuel’s professionalism, patience, and communication made me feel safe and confident every step of the way. He arranged a private boat tour to Capri, including a private drop-off in Sorrento afterward, and everything was flawless. Our private skipper was fantastic, and we enjoyed refreshments on board while taking in the breathtaking views. The following day, we had a private full-day boat tour along the Amalfi Coast, and it was truly the highlight of our vacation. We were picked up right on time, and our two private skippers were incredible—Fabio was one of them—and they made the experience unforgettable. The best part was that the itinerary was completely customized. We were able to stop wherever we wanted, swim, explore, and enjoy the day at our own pace. We had lunch in Nerano, and the food was absolutely delicious. To top it all off, Emanuel also arranged a private van transfer from Sorrento to Napoli Centrale. The ride was comfortable, seamless, and gave us a completely different perspective of the stunning coastline. The entire experience felt like a dream. Every detail was private, personalized, and perfectly organized. The scenery along Capri and the Amalfi Coast is beyond words—you simply have to experience it for yourself because pictures don’t do it justice. If you’re looking for a trustworthy, professional company that delivers exceptional private experiences, I cannot recommend them enough. Thank you, Emanuel, Fabio, and the entire team for making our trip so special!

Why this scores 66
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private tour of Capri: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Sorrento.
How much does Private tour of Capri cost?
+
Prices start at $1085 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Sorrento usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private tour of Capri take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Sorrento is not rushed.
Is Private tour of Capri worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 66 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 39 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Sorrento, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private tour of Capri?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private tour of Capri suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private tour of Capri?
+
Around 14 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Sorrento can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Sorrento and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private tour of Capri start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Sorrento within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Sorrento?
+
On Outty we rank every Sorrento experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Pizza School with Wine and Limoncello Tasting in a Local Farm, Private Amalfi Coast Day Tour from Sorrento or Naples, Sorrento Farm and Food Experience including Olive Oil, Limoncello, Wine tasting. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Sorrento?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Sorrento?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
