Private Tour with Peter to Ancient Corinth, Sanctuary of Hera, Isthmus Canal!
We had an absolutely lovely private day tour with our guide Peter. Peter was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and hospitable. He messaged us the day before introducing himself with a photo and vehicle information. He picked us up right at our hotel and guided us through our itinerary. He was extremely knowledgable and well educated about each place we visited and also shared great information about Greek culture. We very much appreciate his time, hard work, and great personality. We would highly recommend this tour to step outside of Athens and would highly recommend Peter as your guide, you won’t be disappointed!

1,000 Times BETTER than a bus tour!
Our Ancient Greek Tours host, Tas, crafted a custom tour for our family of three, all of whom have mobility issues. He shared his extensive knowledge of the history of each site and helped us imagine what life was like before and during the time of Christ. He managed to time our visits so as not to coincide with the arrival of crowded tour buses and was able to park very close! We were never rushed. It was a relaxing experience with many opportunities for scenic photos. He took us to several delightful restaurants on our two day tour, one by the sea and one situated directly above and overlooking the ruins of Corinth, which was a priority stop for us. Tas was a kind, personable and friendly guide and we were so blessed to have him as our driver. He goes over and above! Even sent us the many photos he took of our experience. Great guy! You should really book a tour with this company, you will not be disappointed. The van was clean and comfortable, and water and cookies were provided during the drive, unexpected treats! After this experience, we’ve given up bus tours forever! This was 1,000 times better!
Response from the operator: It was wonderful meeting the three of you! Thank you so so much for your trust in allowing me to introduce you to Corinthia and Cape Sounion. It was truly my pleasure! Wonderful wonderful people. God bless Hugs Tas Papaioannou

Private Tour of Blue Lake, Temple of Hera, Epidaurus, Corinth & Canal: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Athens.
How much does Private Tour of Blue Lake, Temple of Hera, Epidaurus, Corinth & Canal cost?
+
Prices start at $321 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Athens usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Tour of Blue Lake, Temple of Hera, Epidaurus, Corinth & Canal take?
+
Plan for about 9 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Athens is not rushed.
Is Private Tour of Blue Lake, Temple of Hera, Epidaurus, Corinth & Canal worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 58 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 2 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Athens, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Tour of Blue Lake, Temple of Hera, Epidaurus, Corinth & Canal?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Tour of Blue Lake, Temple of Hera, Epidaurus, Corinth & Canal suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 9-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Tour of Blue Lake, Temple of Hera, Epidaurus, Corinth & Canal?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Athens can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Athens and add a light layer if any part of the 9-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Tour of Blue Lake, Temple of Hera, Epidaurus, Corinth & Canal start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Athens within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Athens?
+
On Outty we rank every Athens experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Athens Scenic Bike Tour with Regular or Electric Bike + Acropolis, Athens Small Group E-Bike Tour, Acropolis E-bike Tour With Entrance Tickets. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Athens?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Athens?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
