Fantastic historic tour of Munich city centre.

It was a fantastic tour of the significant sites in the centre of Munich. Steve our tour guide was absolutely fantastic. His knowledge and insight into the history of the third reich and his ability to put it into context was fantastic. One of the best history tours I’ve ever done!

Response from the operator: Rich, Thank you for this great review of the Thrid Reich Walking Tour and guide Steve. Best, Radius Tours

    Quiet History Lesson

The guide appeared knowledgeable and provided interesting information throughout the tour. However, his voice was too low to hear clearly. When asked to speak louder by another person on tour, he said to move closer to him. I finally stopped trying to listen.

Response from the operator: Julie, thank you for sharing your honest feedback on the tour you joined with us. We are sorry that the projected voice of our guide seemed not loud enough for the group you had been with. We will approach our guide about this to ensure that this will not happen again. Thank you very much for your understanding.

    Munich centered history from WWII

We completed the tour with Sam and he was awesome. Pace was great, Knowledge and flow of the tour was spot on. We had two tours with Sam and both were very informative.

Response from the operator: Hi, thnak you for your good feedback on our tour and guide Sam :) Radius Tours

    Big group but great tour.

Steve was an exceptional guide. Knew his history and made the tour unforgettable. The only thing I would change would be to make the group smaller. Over 20 people is not private.

Response from the operator: Jean, thank you very much for sharing your feedback on the tour. You had booked a group tour with us, not a private tour, maybe you have read the description incorrectly. The tour you booked comes in at 38€ a person, which is not a rate we would be charging for a private tour I am afraid, as much as we would love to!

Private Tour: Munich Third Reich Walking Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Munich.

How much does Private Tour: Munich Third Reich Walking Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $237 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Munich usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Tour: Munich Third Reich Walking Tour take?

    +

Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Munich is not rushed.

Is Private Tour: Munich Third Reich Walking Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 49 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 36 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Munich, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Tour: Munich Third Reich Walking Tour?

    +

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Private Tour: Munich Third Reich Walking Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private Tour: Munich Third Reich Walking Tour?

    +

Around 13 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Munich can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Munich and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Tour: Munich Third Reich Walking Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Munich within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Munich?

    +

On Outty we rank every Munich experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Guided Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial Site Tour with Train from Munich, Munich Classic Bike Tour @ 11.30am with Surfers & beergarden stop, Dachau Memorial Half-Day Tour from Munich (Early-Start). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Munich?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Munich?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
