I booked this tour, was sent a confirmed email with ticket, then got a message 30 min before tour saying it’s canceled.
I booked this tour online, got a confirmation email with ticket, my credit card was charged… and then the morning of the tour as we are heading to the tour, I get a WhatsApp message kindly letting me know that they are canceling my tour because they ar efully booked!? Well, you should not take the reservation on the front side if you do not have the availability. Business ethics 101.
Response from the operator: Dear Joseph Donaldson, We are sorry for your disappointment, but your review does not accurately describe what happened. You made the booking at 20:44, outside our office hours. The booking was not accepted by us. Despite our office being closed, we rejected/cancelled the request at 23:54 the same evening, as soon as we were able to check availability, because the Fiat 500 had a technical issue and was not available. Therefore, it is incorrect to say that we accepted your reservation and cancelled it 30 minutes before the tour. We had not accepted the booking, and we informed you the night before, not only 30 minutes before the service. Any automatic confirmation, ticket, or card authorization was generated by the platform process, not by our direct acceptance of the service. From our side, we did not confirm availability because the car could not be used. We fully understand that this was disappointing, but accusing our company of bad business ethics is unfair when we actually acted responsibly: we did not accept a service we could not provide, and we communicated the issue as soon as possible, even outside normal office hours.
