Exploring Delhi - A day to remember

Our day in Delhi with Nups was one of the highlights of our trip! She’s such a vibrant, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind person, from the moment we met her, we knew we were in great hands. Exploring the Mehrauli Archaeological Park with her was fascinating; she brought the history and stories to life in a way that was easy to connect with. But what made the experience truly special was the way Nups made us feel like old friends rather than just guests. She struck the perfect balance between sharing historical details, fun facts, and local insights, while keeping the atmosphere light and full of laughter. By the end of the day, we felt like we had seen a side of Delhi most tourists never get to experience. Nups has such a big heart, she’s passionate about her city and it shines through in everything she does. We can’t recommend her enough!🥰

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your amazing 5-star review! We’re thrilled to hear you enjoyed the tour and had a memorable experience with us. Your appreciation means a lot to our team and motivates us to keep delivering exceptional journeys. We look forward to welcoming you on another adventure soon!

Private Delhi Tour with Nups

We spent an incredible day exploring Delhi with Nups, and she completely exceeded our expectations! She had endless knowledge about the history, architecture, and little-known details of every site we visited, especially around the Mehrauli Archaeological Park. It was like walking through history with a friend who just happens to be an expert. What really made the day special was Nups herself. She’s warm, funny, and full of contagious energy! She answered every question with so much enthusiasm, kept us laughing, and made sure everyone was engaged and comfortable. She just got our group, knowing exactly when to share a fun fact or crack a joke. By the end of the day, we all agreed she was hands-down the best guide we’ve ever had. We missed her company for the rest of our travels through India. If you get the chance to tour Delhi with Nups, don’t hesitate, she’ll turn an ordinary day into something truly memorable! 🌞

She was super friendly, full of joy, and answered all our questions with genuine enthusiasm. She instantly made us feel comfortable, read the room perfectly, and had the best sense of humor! We were laughing and learning the whole time. Honestly, she was the best guide we had on our entire trip across India, and we found ourselves missing her for the rest of the journey! The Perfect Start to Our India Journey with Nups!

Starting at 3:30pm, this half-day tour offered the perfect introduction to the city. Our wonderful guide Nups shared fascinating stories and insights as we explored the Mehrauli Archaeological Park, including the Quli Khan Tomb and the serene Rose Garden. From there, we visited the Qutub Minar Complex, where the intricate history of Delhi unfolded before us through the Qutub Minar, Alai Minar, Quwwat-ul-Islam Mosque, Ashok Stambh, and Alai Darwaza. The day ended beautifully with a walk through the Lodhi Art District and the peaceful Lodhi Gardens, where history and creativity blend perfectly. It was an incredible way to begin our journey in India — a perfect mix of heritage, culture, and art, all brought to life through Nups’ passionate storytelling and deep knowledge of Delhi’s history. We couldn’t have wished for a better start to our trip! Highly recommend starting your adventure with this tour and with Nups as your guide!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback! We’re truly grateful you chose to travel with us and are thrilled to hear you had a great experience. Your kind words mean the world to our team. We look forward to welcoming you on another adventure very soon!

Private Tour in Mehrauli Archaeological Park & Qutub Minar: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for New Delhi.

How much does Private Tour in Mehrauli Archaeological Park & Qutub Minar cost?

+

Prices start at $2850 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in New Delhi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Tour in Mehrauli Archaeological Park & Qutub Minar take?

+

Plan for about 2.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in New Delhi is not rushed.

Is Private Tour in Mehrauli Archaeological Park & Qutub Minar worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 60 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 11 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in New Delhi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Tour in Mehrauli Archaeological Park & Qutub Minar?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private Tour in Mehrauli Archaeological Park & Qutub Minar suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 6. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 2.5-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Private Tour in Mehrauli Archaeological Park & Qutub Minar?

+

Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in New Delhi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in New Delhi and add a light layer if any part of the 2.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Tour in Mehrauli Archaeological Park & Qutub Minar start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central New Delhi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in New Delhi?

+

On Outty we rank every New Delhi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Taj Mahal & Agra Private Tour By AC Car From Delhi with 5* Meal, Taj Mahal & Agra Fort Private Day Trip From Delhi with 5* Lunch, Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Baby Taj Day Tour from Delhi by Car. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit New Delhi?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in New Delhi?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
