Incredible experience! And a 10 to Green Trails!
Incredible experience! I took this tour with my father and my partner and the three of us ended up delighted. The Guatavita Lagoon is well worth knowing its history and witnessing its greatness at the hands of local guides. And the Salt Cathedral is impressive and beautiful. It is a wonder to see the great work that has been done there over the years to become what it is today. Special mention to our guide Fabio, with whom we learned a lot today, and to Fabián our driver who took us safely and on time throughout the tour. And thanks to Green Trails for taking such good care of every detail, from a souvenir with a welcome snack to choosing a very delicious and pleasant place to eat in Zipaquirá. I highly recommend both this tour and booking with Green Trails, as they really organize everything with great care and affection.

Incredible experience! I took this tour with my partner and my father, and the three of us were delighted. The Guatavita Lagoon is well worth knowing its history from local guides. And the Salt Cathedral is impressive even if you are not religious, it is very beautiful, and knowing its origins and how the place that it is now came to be is very interesting. Special mention to Fabio, our guide, and Fabián our driver, who made the tour comfortable and adapted it to us. Also, Fabio's explanations are very good, and we learned a lot from him. In summary, we are delighted and I highly recommend taking this tour with Green Trails; they take care of every detail. From a small souvenir with a welcome snack, to choosing a delicious and very pleasant place to eat in Zipaquirá. We enjoyed the day a lot, and everything was very easy. Great experience our first day in Colombia thanks to Green Trails!

Spectacular in Every Way!
Green Trails is perhaps the most professional service-oriented tour company I have every worked with. The Jose Otalora is incredibly responsive and customer satisfaction is his number one priority. That being said, our day at Lake Guatavita and the Zipaquira Salt Cathedral exceeded our expectations in every way. Our tour guide Julio was sensational. His English is perfect. Julio is smart, friendly , collaborative and happily goes the extra mile. Lake Guatavita was magic. We were fortunate to have a Muisca local guide and Julio translated. The story of El Dorado was brought to life and made us appreciate the important role of the Lake in this culture. The Zipaquira Salt Cathedral was beautiful and fascinating. Julio generously gave us a private tour so we did not need the Audi guide and we believe had a much richer experience. We lunched at a local restaurant in Zipaquira..excellent. An amazing day. Go with Green Trails. You will be happy you did!
