Week long Cairo trip with family

Roshdy was recommended by a friend. I contacted him a few days prior my week long family trip to Cairo in February. Roshdy organised an excellent itinerary for the week, covering all the important sites and museums around Cairo, also including other activities like camel and ATV rides. He arranged a private vehicle with a very friendly driver for us for the week including daily commuting, groceries, Airport pickup and drop off etc He arranged very knowledgeable and friendly Egyptologist guides for us. All this for a reasonable price as well. Though I didn't meet Roshdy personally, but he was in contact on a daily basis to see that everything was good. The whole trip plan went very smoothly. Thanks Roshdy for all the help.

Response from the operator: I’m truly grateful that you trusted me to organize your family trip to Cairo. It makes me very happy to know that you enjoyed the itinerary and that it covered all the important sites, museums, and fun activities like the camel and ATV rides. I’m also glad the private vehicle and our driver made your daily movements, airport transfers, and even grocery stops comfortable and smooth. Our Egyptologist guides will be very happy to hear your kind words about them as well. Even though we didn’t meet in person, staying in daily contact to ensure everything was running perfectly was very important to me. Your comfort and satisfaction always come first. Thank you again for your trust and appreciation. I hope to welcome you and your family back to Egypt for another amazing adventure in the future! 🇪🇬✨

Just wonderful company who provided me with a wonderful experience!! They welcome you to Egypt with welcome arms!!

I can’t say enough good things about them. Everything went smoothly from the airport meet and greet and visa handling to depositing me back at the airport at the end of the trip. The itinerary that they put together was perfect, the driver and the car was courteous and clean. The tour guide was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, forthcoming in answering questions. The prices for services was so reasonable! You can’t go wrong using this company. I wholeheartedly recommend them!! They take such good care of you and don’t let you worry about anything and they are very responsive and follow up quickly and then check to make sure everything is ok.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for this incredible review! 🌟 We’re truly grateful for your kind words and so happy to know that everything — from the airport meet & greet and visa assistance to your final transfer — went smoothly and stress-free. That’s always our goal: to make sure you can simply relax and enjoy Egypt without worrying about any details.

Private Tour: Giza Pyramids & Hidden Tomb of Queen Meresankh: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cairo.

How much does Private Tour: Giza Pyramids & Hidden Tomb of Queen Meresankh cost?

+

Prices start at $20 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cairo usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Tour: Giza Pyramids & Hidden Tomb of Queen Meresankh take?

+

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cairo is not rushed.

Is Private Tour: Giza Pyramids & Hidden Tomb of Queen Meresankh worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 71 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 32 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cairo, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Tour: Giza Pyramids & Hidden Tomb of Queen Meresankh?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private Tour: Giza Pyramids & Hidden Tomb of Queen Meresankh suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private Tour: Giza Pyramids & Hidden Tomb of Queen Meresankh?

+

Around 11 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cairo can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cairo and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Tour: Giza Pyramids & Hidden Tomb of Queen Meresankh start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cairo within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Cairo?

+

On Outty we rank every Cairo experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include All-in-One Giza Tour, inside Pyramid, sphinx, Camel ride & lunch, VIP Private Giza Pyramids, Sphinx Tour –Inside the Pyramids&More, Giza Pyramids all inclusive,Sphinx, lunch,Camel, insid pyramid. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Cairo?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Cairo?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
