We loved the tour 🐧

We loved the tour! It was really worth the price. However, next time we would like to spend more time with the penguins 🐧 - I would discuss this with the driver if requested and then perhaps spend less time on Muizenberg beach.

A must while in Cape Town!

It was such an unforgettable experience. The vehicle was practically new, our guide Kevin was so sweet that he becomes your local friend while in town. He even helped me and my mom on a difficulty with our cruise, which I will always appreciate. He knows the area very well, answered all our questions and can't wait to book again. We saw so many animals in the wild at the national park and the penguins are a must see. They are plenty and they are comfortable with the tourists. You'll have the tour of a lifetime.

Response from the operator: Dear IvylA Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We're delighted to hear that you had such a positive experience on the tour and that Kevin made a lasting impression. As a professionally certified and experienced guide, Kevin is passionate about sharing the rich history and culture of our region, and it’s always rewarding to hear that his storytelling and Also a very good care taker of his clients ,expertise brought the tour to life for our guests. We’re glad he was able to answer your questions and create an engaging, informative experience. Your feedback truly means a lot to us, and we’ll be sure to pass your kind words on to Kevin — it will make his day! We hope to welcome you back on another tour in the future, whether it’s exploring a new route or diving deeper into another fascinating aspect of our services. Warm regards,

Everything was wonderful! I had a great time and a great company would definitely recommend 10/10

Cape of Good Hope is a breathtaking blend of rugged cliffs, crashing waves, and panoramic views. The sense of standing at the edge of the continent is both humbling and exhilarating. The hiking trails are well-marked, and the chance to spot wildlife like ostriches and baboons adds to the adventure. Watching African penguins waddle along the sand and swim in the clear waters is heartwarming. The boardwalks make it easy to observe them up close without disturbing their habitat. It’s a must-visit for families and animal lovers. Muizenberg Beach is the perfect place to unwind. Its colorful beach huts are iconic, and the gentle waves make it ideal for beginner surfers. The vibe is relaxed, with plenty of cafés and surf shops lining the shore. This route offers a rich mix of nature, wildlife, and local culture. Whether you're snapping photos, hiking, or just soaking up the sun, it’s a day well spent.

Response from the operator: Dear valued client Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful review! We’re absolutely thrilled to hear that you had such a memorable experience on Peninsula tour. Rene is indeed a gem on our team, and we’re so glad she made your experience both informative and enjoyable. It’s wonderful to know that the pace of the tour allowed you to absorb the rich history and stunning views along the Atlantic seaboard without feeling overwhelmed — we are that balance is something we strive for with every group. Your recommendation means the world to us, and we truly appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback. If your travels bring you back this way, we’d love to have you join us again — perhaps for one of our themed or seasonal tours. Safe travels, and thanks once again for choosing us! Warm regards,

Private Tour : Cape of Good Hope,Penguin Colony& Muizenberg Beach: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cape Town.

How much does Private Tour : Cape of Good Hope,Penguin Colony& Muizenberg Beach cost?

+

Prices start at $100 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cape Town usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Tour : Cape of Good Hope,Penguin Colony& Muizenberg Beach take?

+

Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cape Town is not rushed.

Is Private Tour : Cape of Good Hope,Penguin Colony& Muizenberg Beach worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 69 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cape Town, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Tour : Cape of Good Hope,Penguin Colony& Muizenberg Beach?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private Tour : Cape of Good Hope,Penguin Colony& Muizenberg Beach suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private Tour : Cape of Good Hope,Penguin Colony& Muizenberg Beach?

+

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cape Town can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cape Town and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Tour : Cape of Good Hope,Penguin Colony& Muizenberg Beach start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cape Town within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Cape Town?

+

On Outty we rank every Cape Town experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Cape of Good Hope and Boulders Penguins Day Tour from Cape Town, Table Mountain, Boulders Penguins and Cape point Day Tour, Wine Tour: Paarl, Franschhoek & Stellenbosch incl 3 wineries. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Cape Town?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Cape Town?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
