Excellent Service

Excellent tour. Mido our guide was a professional egyptologist who gave us an exceptional experience. He gave us lots of historical and cultural information and was more than happy to answer questions. He kept the entire trip interactive and in high spirits.

Mr. Mido is a star, highly recommended.

Best Tour in Cairo, Mr. Mido is a star, I would highly recommend Mr. Mido. He is very sweet natured, has great knowledge about Egypt’s history and is very professional as a tour guide. He started the day with detailed itinerary where you have an opportunity to customise it your way and agree on the sights and the order as you like. Mr. Mido’s experience saved us a lot of time in traffic and queues. He is very well organised, and makes the whole tour fun by making it interactive. We had so much fun through the day, it didn’t feel like we met a stranger. On top of that, Mido is also an excellent photographer. This sorts all your social media blues. As he knows the angles, does a very good job with latest phones. The driver Mr. Mohammed was fabulous too. Pro’s: 1) Very luxurious and spacious car. 2) Highly experienced and qualified tour guide 3) Mido was an amazing photographer, which you will rarely find. 4) Highly organised Con’s: 1) None, thoroughly enjoyed the trip :) Tip’s: 1) Book in advance 2) Speak to the Agency and request experienced tour guide, Check if Mr. Mido is available. 3) Do the Museums yourselves 4) Enter at least one pyramid, even though all guides advise against.

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Cairo?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Cairo?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
