Amazing tour guide!
David Gurevich provided an excellent touring experience due to his in depth knowledge of the subject, the region and the history. Took a full day solo tour to Zippori National Park, Capernaum (Kfar Nachum) and Magdala in the Galilee area. An extremely knowledgeable and credentialed archaeologist, David provided a treasure trove of insight and detailed information on these historical sites, noting not only the historical significance of these sites, but their religious import as well. He is very down to earth and a pleasure to engage with. Highly recommended. I would give him 10 stars!!
Response from the operator: Thank you Lisa! It was a great pleasure to explore the ancient synagogues with you. :)

The Best Guide we've ever had!
It is hard to express how great of a guide David was. With his knowledge of archeology, he is able to give insights that other cannot. We hired David for 2 days, one day was the Sea of Galilee and surrounding areas, and day 2 was around Ceasarea and Megiddo. David was so patient with all of our questions. With his PhD in Archeology his answers were far beyond what we experienced with other tour guides. We had a fun two days with David and his driver, Yulik. And, as a bonus, the shawarma places we went to for lunches were superb. When we went to Jerusalem, we sure missed David and his insights! We hope to return to Israel and will definitely be hiring David. 100% recommend!
Response from the operator: Thank you Michelle! It was my pleasure :)

Wonderful Tour
We spent the day touring with David at multiple spots around the Sea of Galilee and it was very enjoyable. He is an excellent guide that was friendly, knowledgeable and informative. His knowledge of the Bible and Israel was very impressive. We recommend David and hope our paths cross with him again.
Response from the operator: Thanks! The pleasure is mine! :)

!Best private tour of Nazareth, Galilee region, Haifa
David is awesome and we highly recommend doing a private tour with him! I was traveling with my parents and he took everyone's preferences into consideration. He was flexible going from site to site and can give you the best story telling and detail, if you are into that, and if your parents want just some of the highlights, he can do that too. He knows Israel extremely well and can help guide you to your interests and can go deep in any area you choose. He brought us to fabulous locations and we really enjoyed our time with him. It's a rare find to have a private guide that is so thoughtful, kind, interesting, and knows all the best restaurants (and mundane details such as bathroom stops). Don't hesitate to book!
Response from the operator: Thank you! It was my pleasure :)

Incredible tour of Israel
We were so lucky to book a day with David. What are Shipp had last minute changes to the itineraries, and so our pre-booked excursion was canceled. We were able to see the great reviews David had and worked with him. He got everything arranged and was extremely flexible with our crazy schedule. He was able to cater the trip to what we wanted to see and more. He is very knowledgeable and professional. Would happily do more tours with him in the future when we come back!
Response from the operator: Thanks! It was my pleasure.

The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private tour: Around the Sea of Galilee.: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Tel Aviv.
How much does Private tour: Around the Sea of Galilee. cost?
+
Prices start at $540 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Tel Aviv usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private tour: Around the Sea of Galilee. take?
+
Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Tel Aviv is not rushed.
Is Private tour: Around the Sea of Galilee. worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 60 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Tel Aviv, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private tour: Around the Sea of Galilee.?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private tour: Around the Sea of Galilee. suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 10-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private tour: Around the Sea of Galilee.?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Tel Aviv can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Tel Aviv and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private tour: Around the Sea of Galilee. start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Tel Aviv within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Tel Aviv?
+
On Outty we rank every Tel Aviv experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Guided Pub Crawl Night Tour at Tel Aviv, Masada and the Dead Sea Day Trip from Tel Aviv, Tel Aviv Jaffa Guided Bike Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Tel Aviv?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Tel Aviv?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
