Highlights of Rotorua in 2 days: Absolutely amazing and worth it!

We are really glad we chose this private tour. My daughter and I only had 3 full days in New Zealand and really had to make the most of our short time. I did a lot of research and came upon Experiencekart's well curated itineraries. I started communicating via email with Karthik and he was always extremely responsive. He picked us up promptly from our hotel and had a nice giftbag with snacks and drinks for us. Khartik was always very considerate of our comfort needs along the way and shared helpful insights for the area with us. All of the stops were perfectly coordinated and organized. At our request he stopped at souvenir shops, post office, he took us to the Hell's Gate spa with hot mud and sulfur pools after our first day of the tour and waited for us to take us back to our hotel. I can't say enough great things about the experience provided by Khartik! Now about the venues, we absolutely loved all of the sites we visited. The Waitomo caves were fascinating, Rotorua extremely beautiful and unique with the sulfur springs all over. Wai-o-tapu geothermal park was absolutely gorgeous. The living Maori village was not to be missed, we enjoyed the cultural experience in the village immensely. We finished the tour on a high note with the last stop being Lady Knox Geyser. We as so happy we could visit and experience all these amazing places in such a short time. We could not have done it without this tour.

Response from the operator: Kia ora Peangchai & Maia, Thank you very much for your lovely feedback and appreciation of our services. We sincerely appreciate you taking the time to leave with this beautiful 5 star review on TripAdvisor and means the whole world to us. We are very pleased to hear that you enjoyed the trip and made the most of your time exploring New Zealand with the short amount of time you had available and choosing to book with ExperienceKart! We strive very hard to provide an exhilarating and positive experience for our guests and so pleased to hear that you had an amazing time travelling with us and see Waitomo & Rotorua. We look forward to hosting your family and friends in the near future. Until then we wish you enjoyable and safe travels!

    Wonderful experience with great people!

I was traveling to New Zealand as a solo traveler so I was unable to book with many of the tour companies because of the 2 person min requirement and also the timing of my trip did not fit within many of their preplanned schedules. Karthik was able to tailor an itinerary that fit my schedule actually allowing me to see more than I would had I tried to book through other travel agencies in the short amount of time I was in New Zealand. The booking process was very easy I was able to provide them with the things I wanted to see and they were able to build a schedule to fit my needs. After finalizing my itinerary I received a detailed copy along with follow up emails to make sure everything was setup and ready to go. The vehicle we traveled in was a Toyota Land Cruiser that was very nice and clean and Karthik was a great driver, he also provided a very nice welcome bag full of snacks and goodies for the trip. During my trip he was a great traveling companion giving he history and facts about the areas we were traveling through and answering all my questions about New Zealand. During my travels when we had a few minutes to spare Karthik took the time to show me other places along the route that held historic and/or scenic significance because he knew I was up for learning new things and seeing all the things I could see in my short time their. I really appreciate the time and effort that Karthik put into providing me with a great experience during my time in New Zealand. I hope I am able to return soon and will definitely be booking more trips with Experience Kart.

Response from the operator: Kia ora Zane, Thank you very much for taking your time to leave us with a 5 star review. We are extremely humbled by your comments and very stoked to hear that you had such an amazing trip travelling with ExperienceKart in New Zealand. It's also fantastic to hear that you had an opportunity to see a few more things when there was a bit of time available, we always do or best to make the most of your valuable time in New Zealand! We certainly look forward to hosting you again in NZ hopefully in the near future and until then we wish you safe travels and kindest regards from all of us here.

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. What should I bring or wear?

The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Auckland?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Auckland?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
