He sank into the sea, but his father did not return, so She waited on the beach like every day for decades before turning to stone and dying. It is in the form of grandmother and is standing carrying a baby. Cheonjiyeon Falls
The name "Cheonjiyeon" is presumed to have originated from the fact that the waterfall features "Cheonjiso," a pond formed where heaven and earth meet. Located at an altitude of 25 meters above sea level, Cheonjiyeon Waterfall is 22 meters high, 12 meters wide, and 20 meters deep. The waterfall has a gradient of 100°, flows in a north-south direction, and the "Cheonjiyeon" formed at the base of the waterfall itself serves as a plunge pool. The rock composing the cliff of Cheonjiyeon Waterfall is trachyandesite, and water is supplied from Yeonoecheon (Sombannae), a perennial stream flowing upstream. Yeonoecheon has an abundant water volume, with spring water gushing up year-round and flowing down into Cheonjiyeon to become the waterfall. Seogwipo Port is located at the point where the waterfall meets the sea. Since the terrain is flat, wheelchair access is convenient, allowing people of all ages to easily take a walk and enjoy nature.

Songaksan Mountain
Songaksan Beach is famous as a drama filming location. In the coastal caves, you can see the caves that the Japanese army forcibly made to the Jeju residents. It is a trench made to protect the kamikaze airfield in the war against the US Navy and warships. Songaksan Mountain was used by the Japanese military as a stepping stone for invasion of China during World War II, so traces of runways and airship hangars remain. Fifteen trenches from that period remain beneath the sea cliffs. From the observatory, you can see the southernmost Marado (aka Marado) and Gapado Island very close.

Daepo Haean Jusangjeolli Cliff
Columnar joints are quadrangular-shaped pillars that look as if they were delicately carved with a sharp carving knife, and are vertical joints that appear in basaltic lava flows. It was formed as a result of the contraction of thick lava flowing from a crater and rapidly cooling. You can enjoy the mystery of nature as the hexagonal stone pillars standing on top of each other, like a stack of stairs, are surrounded like a folding screen. The waves crashing against the pillars are also a sight to behold, and in severe cases, a 'show' soaring more than 20m in height is unfolded, taking the viewer's breath away. The Jusangjeolli Cliff in the Jungmun-Daepo Coast boasts the largest scale in Korea with a height of 30 to 40m and a width of about 1km, and is designated as Jeju Island Natural Monument No. 443.

+

How far in advance should I book Private Tour 1100Road & Cheonjiyeon Waterfall in Jeju Island?
+
Around 0 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Jeju can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Jeju and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Tour 1100Road & Cheonjiyeon Waterfall in Jeju Island start and how do I get there?
+

What are the best things to do in Jeju?
+
On Outty we rank every Jeju experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Jeju Island Eastern UNESCO site Full Day Guided Tour, Jeju East Essentials – Seongsan Ilchulbong (UNESCO) & Haenyeo, Jeju South-West Essentials: Hallasan & Signature Highlights. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Jeju?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Jeju?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
