On your first day you will be picked up from Luxor Airport, your Luxor hotel or port for a 6-hour guided tour. You will begin at the Valley of the Kings, the ancient Necropolis of Thebes, which is a must-see for Luxor travelers. There you visit three tombs: the Tomb of Ramses, the Tomb of Horemheb and the Tomb of Merenptah. Your Egyptologist tour guide will be with you to answer any questions you may have. You will also see the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, and the Temple of Ramses III. Afterwards, you will be taken to see the Colossi of Memnon, the two largest ancient statues in Egypt, which date back to the era of King Amenhotep III. Tomb of Ramses III
The tomb of Ramesses III, designated as KV 11, is a complex system in the Valley of the Kings. It has been known since antiquity,the wonderful decorations include colourful painted sunken reliefs featuring the traditional ritual texts (Litany of Ra, Book of Gates etc) and Ramses before the gods. Unusual here are the secular scenes, in the small side rooms of the entrance corridor, showing foreign tributes, such as highly detailed pottery imported from the Aegean, the royal armoury, boats and, in the last of these side chambers, the blind harpists that gave the tomb one of its alternative names: ‘Tomb of the Harpers’

Tomb of Ramases IX
Tomb of King Ramesses lX was the third pharaoh of the Twentieth Dynasty of the New Kingdom of Ancient Egypt. His name prior to assuming the crown was Amonhirkhopshef. He was the fifth son of Ramesses III and was appointed to the position of crown prince by the twenty-second year of his father's reign when all four of his elder brothers predeceased his promotion to crown prince . The tomb has so much colour and detail even the ceiling above the sarcophagi with its goddess Nut stretching across the space. The sarcophagus is one of the largest in the valley, even though some of the paintings have deteriorated this is one of the most decorated.

Top Service, safe and a remarkable in depth experience
We had booked the 3 day Tour in Luxor and had a wonderful experience. We were not sure what to expect in these "Covid" times or how the Covid rules would effect us during these three days, but we were very pleasant surprised on how everything was put in place. We were pickup up by Khalid and a driver on our first day. The car was very clean and both were wearing their mask all the time. At the different sights, Khalid made always sure to stay away from the crowds (even though there were hardly any), paced his stories to the flow of the people and get us to the good spots (for picture taking or to discover hidden treasures) when no one else was around. Khalid is well trained in his field of egyptology and could amaze us at each stop with his stories and let the history unfold in front of us. He has an amazing skill not to overflow you with knowledge, but still tie all the history together over the several spots you visit. So by the end it makes sense for even someone like us, who have not studied up before. We can only recommend him and Luxor Travels. It was an amazing experience and when we return for Assuan, we will make sure to ask for him.

Great experience in Luxor, Egypt
We have been guided by Ragab which made our day as pleasand and interestead as he could enlightening us with the histroty of Luxor. He had patience explaining the history of the places we had visited and his presence was a real help so we could enjoy the mistery of Luxor. We visited 3 tunbs in Valley of King, the Karnak Temple and a local hand made shop which was a great experience. Overall we enjoyed our day and I would happy recommend Ragah to other turists.

very very nice - top service - thank you very much
We arranged a customized private tour with Luxor Travels (valley of the kings, Luxor and Karnak Tempel and boat ride) - spaced out over three days. Ragab was very competent and helpful in organizing the trip. Exchange of emails beforehand and payment - all went very easy. Our guide Khalid is already mentioned several times here - so I don't need to repeat all the good things. All I want to say is that my entire family enjoyed his company very much. He not only knows the history of Egypt and the sights but is also very helpful and understanding in dealing with clients. I only regret that we did not have the opportunity to share a shisha on our last day. Next time. The company had also taken care of our transfer to the Red Sea, needless to say that this also went very well. Punctually and comfortably, pricing was very fair and reasonable. I will definitely go with them again - on my way to Assuan and Abu Simbel.
