About this experience
In contrast to bus trips, with an individual city tour you have the opportunity to stop almost everywhere - be it for a photo shoot, be it for a snack or break, be it for a coffee. Or for a longer tour to take a closer look at an object or to have it explained (e.g. Topography of Terror, Checkpoint Charly, Hackesche Höfe, Brandenburg Gate, Berlin Palace/Humboldt Forum). According to your interests and wishes! And unlike a walking tour, you don't just see a tiny part of our city. Here you can still immerse yourself in Berlin districts (Kieze) such as Kreuzberg or Friedrichshain. On this tour we have relaxed time even for extra destinations such as Charlottenburg Palace, Tempelhof Airport, Wall Memorial or the Soviet War Memorial in Treptow Harbour. And enjoy the luxury of being picked up personally from your accommodation in the S-Bahn ring. And all in a real Berlin luxury SUV!

One of the Best Viator Experiences – Thoughtful and Immersive
Having taken several Viator tours over the years, I can say this was one of the best. Gunter was an exceptional guide—warm, professional, and deeply knowledgeable. What made this tour truly stand out was his ability to adapt the experience to my interests. Rather than simply visiting landmarks, he brought Berlin’s complex history to life with insight and sensitivity, creating a narrative that felt both personal and meaningful. The private taxi format allowed for flexibility, comfort, and comfortable pace—especially appreciated on a sunny day, with an air-conditioned car always nearby. Pickup and drop-off at my hotel added to the convenience. We covered a remarkable number of sites, and I left the tour with a much deeper appreciation for Berlin’s layered history. My sincere thanks to Gunter for an engaging and memorable experience—his passion for Berlin and for connecting with guests was clear throughout.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for this intensive review! I try to do always my best to my guests - thanks hearing when it worked :-))

Super fun and informative!
If you are traveling with older people it is great. The other thing is you get to see a lot of Berlin and learn the history. There's no way you could learn and see so much on your own in a short time.
Response from the operator: Thank you very much for this review

Great tour especially if you are a history buff
Gunter was very informative and helpful and the entire tour was excellent Didn’t have to worry about taking pictures as Gunter did all that for us. 😊

Phenomenal!
My husband abd I spent two days exploring Berlin & Potsdam with Gunter and he is a phenomenal tour guide! We learned so much about the history of the places we visited and he shared recommendations of other places to see while we were visiting. A tour with Gunter is a must do when visiting Berlin!

Private Taxi Tour of Berlin + Extras – Extended & Relaxed 6-8h: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Berlin.
How much does Private Taxi Tour of Berlin + Extras – Extended & Relaxed 6-8h cost?
+
Prices start at $176 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Berlin usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Taxi Tour of Berlin + Extras – Extended & Relaxed 6-8h take?

Is Private Taxi Tour of Berlin + Extras – Extended & Relaxed 6-8h worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 60 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Berlin, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Taxi Tour of Berlin + Extras – Extended & Relaxed 6-8h?

How far in advance should I book Private Taxi Tour of Berlin + Extras – Extended & Relaxed 6-8h?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Berlin can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Berlin and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Taxi Tour of Berlin + Extras – Extended & Relaxed 6-8h start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Berlin within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Berlin?
+
On Outty we rank every Berlin experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Berlin's Best: 2 Hour Walking Tour Third Reich and the Cold War, Communist East Berlin and Berlin Wall Small Group Walking Tour, Sachsenhausen concentration camp.. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Berlin?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Berlin?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
