    Wonderful visit

This winery takes you back in time, authentic, real, but at the same time cared for in every single detail! Our guide was more than welcoming, very kind and discreet, but above all knowledgeable about all the winery's processes. Highly recommended, whether as a couple or with friends... a very intimate setting!

    Highly recommended wine tasting experience

We thouroughly enjoyed the whole experience; Marco explained wine-making in perfect English, and led the wine tasting session in a patient (I’m a slow eater/drinker) and expert manner. This is a genuine working wine estate and the information he shared was fascinating. The bread, cured meat, cheese and bread in oil portions were generous, as well as the four types of wine poured into the glasses. (We had a wine tasting experience in another Tuscan wine estate 4 years ago and it wasn’t yhe case). The quality of both food and wine were truly excellent. Sadly we had only space for one more bottle in our luggage so we only bought 1 bottle of Vin Santo, but we would have happily bought 3.

Response from the operator: Dear Alexandre, it was a pleasure having you as guests at our winery and knowing that the experience met your expectations: making our visitors feel welcome and leaving them with fond memories is our goal. Thank you!

    Everything was perfect

Fabulous experience! Valentina was an excellent guide, she thoroughly explained the entire wine-making process and the various procedures. The tasting was very pleasant, the wines were excellent and were served with good food, which allowed us to fully enjoy the flavor of the wines. The place is also easily reachable by public transport, just a few minutes from the center of Arezzo. Highly recommended!

Valentina

    Tasting with a surprise

We stopped while returning from three pleasant days in Tuscany. And it was the icing on the cake Very warm welcome An unexpected visit to a pleasant vin santo winery. And then a tasting of their wines accompanied by Tuscan cured meats, focaccia, and cheese. And to finish, cantucci and an amazing vin santo. The owner is excellent and especially very hospitable.

Response from the operator: Ringrazio delle vostre belle parole e soprattutto della vostra visita che mi ha consentito - anche se in un vero "last minute" - di far conoscere la fattoria di San Leo ed i suoi vini. Valentina

    From Chianti to Vino Santo

The wine tasting with Marco (4th generation) was very engaging and informative. The wines were excellent, and there was the opportunity to compare and taste different vintages. Along with that, Tuscan sausage and cheese specialties, bread, and olive oil were served. To conclude, there was a Vin Santo with Cantuccini. One of the top 10 experiences of my life.

Response from the operator: Dear Gerd, thank you for your visit and your review: it was a pleasure for us to welcome you and introduce you to our winery, Marco
