The finest photo shoot experience, from start to finish!!!

I spent a wonderful three hours with Nicholas at the end of January 2023 photographing a lovely and charming pair of tango dancers on the streets of Buenos Aires. The professionalism of Nicholas immediately became apparent in the months before we actually met as we communicated to arrange our time together. His suggestions for time and place were spot on. His responsiveness to my email queries was precise, helpful and ultra prompt. As I primarily do landscape photography, I looked to Nicholas for guidance and suggestions, both technically and artistically, during the actual shoot. He was instructive, open to questions and seemed generally interested in my success. During the evening we photographed in three locations, and Nicolas provided guidance for our moving about the city. Nicholas provided supplemental lighting equipment for my use. The dancers engaged by Nicholas were lovely people who performed (in the very warm Buenos Aires weather) in an engaging and professional manner, even changing their apparel several times. From beginning to end, my experience with Nicholas Tinelli exceeded my expectations. This was a truly wonderful event. Thank you, Nicholas!!! I would repeat in a heartbeat.

Response from the operator: Thank you very much John, for relying on my guidance here in Buenos Aires and for taking the time to describe your experience with me. It was a great pleasure to meet you and share time together during the tango photoshoot. A warm greeting from Argentina!!

    Superb!

I worked with professional photographer Nicolas. My needs differed from the typical shoot/ Both Nicolas and the two professional dancers and I all worked together to collaborate on the images. Nicolas provide some slights as the shoot was indoor because of my needs. We needed to run test shoots and make technical adjustments on both the camera and how the dancers performed. We worked seamlessly together. In short I could have not had a better team to work with. The demands of the shoot stretched everyone on their professional skills, And everyone was keen to see the results on the reviews. I can't praise them enough. If were to do another shoot, I wouldn't hesitate to get the same team together. They were professional, yet flexible. Their input on how to adjust was demonstrated a deep understanding of both the dance and very demanding technical requirements. If you want an original shoot, these are the folks to go with. Very pleased! Jeb Schenck, Schenck Photography

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind words Jeb, the dancers and I had a great time working with you on this shoot and the end result is simply fantastic. It was a real pleasure and inspiration to be able to work on such an original idea. All the best!!! Nicholas

Private Tango Photoshoot: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Buenos Aires.

How much does Private Tango Photoshoot cost?

    +

Prices start at $300 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Buenos Aires usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Tango Photoshoot take?

    +

Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Buenos Aires is not rushed.

Is Private Tango Photoshoot worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 49 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Buenos Aires, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Tango Photoshoot?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private Tango Photoshoot suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private Tango Photoshoot?

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Buenos Aires can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Buenos Aires and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Tango Photoshoot start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Buenos Aires within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Buenos Aires?

    +

On Outty we rank every Buenos Aires experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Argentine Cooking, Wine & Beef Tasting at Argentine Experience, Historical Sherpa Food Tour of San Telmo with Street Food, Drinks, Cooking Class with Empanadas Steak & Flan by Argentine Experience. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Buenos Aires?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Buenos Aires?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
