A Complete Nightmare
“Luxury Tangier Tours” was a complete NIGHTMARE!! My sister, husband, mother-in-law and I were on our first 15 day Transatlantic cruise. Our first excursion was going to be in Tangier. We scheduled a tour with “Luxury Tangier Tours” company through Viator. We were off the ship by 9:30 and our schedule meeting time was at 11:00. We started to get a little nervous around 10:30 when there were no “Luxury Tangier Tours” shuttles. We contacted Viator to get information about the driver. Viator told us they would contact the driver and get back with us. Viator did as the said and responded with a picture of the sign we would see, followed by a picture of the driver in front of the shuttle holding the sign. We found who we thought was the guy. EVERYTHING was the same as in the photo - the way the man looked, wearing the SAME outfit, holding the SAME sign, in front of the SAME van, and in the SAME spot. We told the guy we believed he was our tour guide and showed him our information. He said we were not part of his tour group. We did not get to go and participate in the tour. What should have been an amazing and awesome experience turned out to be a majorly disappointment and frustrating experience.

SCAM ALERT
DO NOT BOOK A TOUR WITH THIS COMPANY! My husband and I paid for a solo tour and were told last minute we would be with a small group, which turned out to be 27 people in a large bus. We did not get to see half of the sites/attractions that were promised in the itinerary. There was no coffee, tea, or juice offered, and we spent most of our time waiting around for all the other people that were also scammed into this most disappointing tour. Everyone on the bus had purchased a solo tour and was equally dissatisfied and infuriated. Beyond disappointed with Viator!

WORST travel experience of my life!
This will most likely be the last time I ever book a tour with Viator/Tripadvisor. Arranged a private Tangier tour for cruise ship guests as an all-inclusive package. We specifically wanted a private tour so we would not have to wait around at every site for the stragglers in a large group. The tour was advertised as private, with a fully personalized itinerary and all-inclusive services, allowing us to explore the city's highlights at our own pace. None of this was true! Instead of a private tour with a driver/guide, a VERY large group from the ship was put on a full-size bus, all of whom had also booked private tours. One of the spots we wanted to see was the Cave of Hercules; instead, they took us to a small cave next to it that had a gift shop and people trying to get people to take photos for money with a monkey and a parrot. The group was never admitted into the Cave of Hercules. The tour guide informed us that we would have to pay an additional 8 euros to enter the large cave, even though this was listed as part of the all-inclusive trip. That is hardly all-inclusive. We were supposed to go to the Tangier American Legation Museum but did not. We were supposed to go to the Moshi Nhan synagogue, but we did not go there either, nor did we visit the other sites listed on the itinerary. How can Viatour possibly consider itself a legitimate company when it allows a bait-and-switch scam to affect so many passengers? What should have been a fantastic day and experience in Morocco turned into a nightmare during the daytime! Instead of the guide taking us through the various sites, he would drop us off someplace and say, "You have half an hour here; you have two hours here to walk around on your own." The guide also took us to a café that sold pizza and other items; the food was swarming with flies and other bugs. It was absolutely disgusting! Viator/Tripadvisor needs to make this right to all the people who were 100% scammed and taken advantage of. This day was the “lowlight “ of this trip as well as any other trip I’ve ever been on. What a joke of a company!

Worth Every Penn
Ne have taken many cruise excursions over the years, and this was one of the very best. It fel rulv private and personalized rather than a larae group tour. The guide was punctual, professional and incredibly knowledgeable. We experienced the real Tangier while still seeing all the famous attractions. Everything--from transportation and entrance fees to lunch and activities- -was included, making it completely hassle-free. We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Tangier by cruise ship.

Amazing Day in Morocco
What an unforgettable experience! This tour gave us the perfect introduction to Tangier. Every detail was handled professionally, and the itinerary was well planned. We visited beautiful viewpoints, historic landmarks, lively markets, and enjoyed authentic Moroccan cuisine. The guide was passionate about his city and made the day both educational and fun. This was easily the highlight of our cruise vacation.

Private Tangier Tour for Cruise Ship Guests All Inclusive: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Tangier.
How much does Private Tangier Tour for Cruise Ship Guests All Inclusive cost?
+
Prices start at $50 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Tangier usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Tangier Tour for Cruise Ship Guests All Inclusive take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Tangier is not rushed.
Is Private Tangier Tour for Cruise Ship Guests All Inclusive worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 35 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Tangier, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Tangier Tour for Cruise Ship Guests All Inclusive?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Tangier Tour for Cruise Ship Guests All Inclusive suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Tangier Tour for Cruise Ship Guests All Inclusive?
+
Around 12 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Tangier can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Tangier and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Tangier Tour for Cruise Ship Guests All Inclusive start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Tangier within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Tangier?
+
On Outty we rank every Tangier experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include From Tangier: Chefchaouen Day Trip with Local Guide, luxury 4 Hour Private Tour of Tangier, Authentic Full Day Private Tour of Tangier. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Tangier?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Tangier?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
